Fix "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes" Error in Windows PC

Windows update troubleshooter is as much use as a chocolate teapot. Had this this week on 3 machines. Wasted a lot of time trying things without help. So just left it for a few days - today the updates completed on their own and demanded a restart. So that's perhaps the first advice - just leave the machine a week and see if the updates complete on their own.

None of this helped me. Windows is strange, there is no way to diagnose the actual problem, you can only blindly trial and error 50 various “solutions”.

hey in the net start wuauserv it said the service cannot be started either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it pls hurry im in danger

I did the troubleshooter it says problems detected. That is all it says. I tried uninstalling previous update, it said error couldn’t successfully uninstall. I’m losing my shh over this

I followed carefully all these steps and the updates issues was far from getting solved. On top of that, now the windows update windows says: "Something went wrong. Try to reopen Settings later".
