Eight Sleep Pod 3 Mattress Review | Best Cooling and Smart Bed?

Here is my experience, 2 weeks late delivery. After 2 weeks of use, one side stopped working. I reached out 4 days in a row, by chat and phonecall, to get support. On the 5th day, they finally responded asking me to turn the unit off an on again. Seriously, no support, slow lazy responses and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Despite their clever troubleshooting, nothing worked and I will be returning for a refund. For the darn near 3K cost, and a monthly sub, they need to do better.

They want a monthly subscription to use this? It required an internet app? That's pretty terrible honestly.

Sounded great- till he said it has capillaries with water in them. Water is being pumped through the mattress/ cover. Not so good if you have a pet that sleeps on your bed.

The fact that forces you to select a monthly fee to use it features, I find that awful. What a turn off.

Best way to sleep is going to bed with a clear conscience. Not many of you people can say or do that,let alone having one !! Plus leave your problems at the front door ,don’t bring them inside! Actually I can say I would sleep all night in barn if needed so, some chick will keep me warm for much less.

The reason I would NEVER buy this is because it has a subscription in addition to the cost. They must be joking.

Is the app still works in 10 years for now? Or is there at least another way to use access the configuration? I don’t want to throw away such an expensive mattress just because the company stops updating their app for any reason.

Let me tell you the best feature. It doesn't work if it's not connected to the internet. There is no way to control the pod without internet access. Please don't ask me how I know...

I'm writing this at 3am as the pod woke me up yet again and support has been repeatedly unhelpful and/or incompetent. The fact that they require you to pay a fee to use the most vital features of their app (even after spending $2,000+ for their product) is unconscionable. So basically if you want to adjust the temperature (you always will have to), you'll need to open your phone, fail face ID multiple times in the dark, unlock your phone with your passcode, and manually change the temperature (if you're lucky enough for the app to function correctly). Seems misleading that they want you to use your phone in the middle of the night, while advocating for "better sleep." They won't ever allow you to manually adjust the bed because they are desperate for your sleep data and the quality of your actual sleep is of no concern.

Man, this is a key reason why we need the fucking downvote count visible. What a s waste of time.

Really have no clue about the product as it never was used. Have a friend who loves hers and we thought to give it a try. 2 boxes arrived, both significantly damaged. Could not contact customer service by phone or chat but 24 hrs after received email response to our request for a replacement shipment. After 10 days and several delayed responses "working on it" a second service rep said no replacement order was ever issued. At which point we cancelled the order. Now have waited 48 hours for return instructions; no response to phone, chat, email. Maybe the product is okay, but customer service so poor I cannot recommend Eight Sleep.

Definitely paid advertising

This isn’t a review. You tested absolutely nothing. You don’t even give a subjective opinion on its comfort. This is an 8 minute sales pitch.

Nice for couples. I run hot my fiancee runs freezing and has to use a warming blanket. Could be good for that. Or in eu countries that dont have ac as often

I choose AC with temperature 18°C only pay $300 for AC installation rather than bed cover $2,5K

hello i want a mattress for 500 to 600 dollarars and i am a side sleeper so i want a soft mattress and i like cooling mattresses like the ghost bed lux but im 95 pound so i just want it soft and not medeuim soft . so if you hava any reccomendations please reply Thank you ❤

Does the pod 2 mattress have the same tracking abilities as the newest one and it’s just less comfort options?

That's a lot of money for a two year warranty though.
