What i don't get is why Pucci needed to resurrect the bone and merge with the green baby to create made in heaven, when he had star platinum which is the same type of stand as za warudo so he could merge with that instead.

Because the original heaven plan was to destroy za warudo to reconstruct the stand as made in heaven. Couldn't he just follow those same steps with star platinum?

Maybe because he can't use star platinum himself and he doesn't trust anyone to use it and made in heaven? IDK.

In jotaro's defense, he probably planned to tank White Snake's attack after saving jolyne, not expecting to get 1 tapped by his ability. He honestly probably thought the dreaming part was his only ability, therefore wouldn't have much of an offense ability wise. Jotaro probably expected to just get punched
