More of the build, not your face
ОтветитьIvwant to install those post .
But figure out how to do the corners.
Can you give me some advice.
That's a pretty fence! Great work, guys! So... Instead of concrete, go with driving the posts in Baton Rouge? I had a soil sample done and here are the results. Is that good enough to drive the posts 3 feet for a 6 foot high horizontal fence?
Based on the results of our laboratory testing, the soil is classified as silty clay (CL-ML) from the ground
surface to a depth of 3-ft, and fat clay (CH) from a depth of 3-ft to 5-ft. Moisture content of the soil
ranged from 24% to 26%, which is typical for the soil types encountered. Organic contents of the soil
were low, ranging from 1.5% to 1.7%.
Thanks for sharing this video. It's helped me decide to go with metal posts as well. My local home Depot has the lifetime posts 92 inches for $36.
I saw the lifetime manual recommends 24 inches below ground. Do you need to go deeper if you're driving?
Also the home Depot has a post driver for rent but it won't work to drive a 4 inch post. Is there an cheap adapter I can use? I saw some adapters online for $200. It's a small run of fence so I don't want to spend $200 for an adapter.
All advice is appreciated, thanks!
Why not rotate the posts 180, and make sure the skeleton lies flush with the design of the post? It would make it look sleeker and easier to cover the posts on each side with a single plank
ОтветитьDo y’all come down to Thibodeaux la thanks
ОтветитьUseless
ОтветитьRemember the unsinkable "titanic"
don't say tropical wind proof if
Ma Nature wants to move it she will !!
You talking way to low in the video, and captions only get 75% of words correctly. All I know is that these posts are supposed to withstand tropical storms 🤣🤣🤣🤣 LMFAO bet they can't withstand a crackhead might for a few hubbarocks.
ОтветитьIt’s all good except the fact most utility lines are within the two foot property line boundaries. And you still have to hand dig. I’ll pass and keep going with mr Little Beaver machine.
ОтветитьFence King, I'm in Georgia(red clay) and I have a post driver like yours(for silt fence and batter boards). Can I use it to drive normal round fence posts for chain link fencing or do those need to be set in concrete? Thanks!
Ответить70mph winds is not that much....
ОтветитьI am in need of an 80-foot wood fence replacement in Baton Rouge La. Interested?
ОтветитьI've been so on the fence (no pun) about going this route and just driving them into the ground using your method. It's a tough call though, cuz everywhere on their website and also Lifetime Fence Posts website, it says to set in concrete. Hope you might be able to provide me with a little insight?! Thank you
ОтветитьWhat height did you use for the postmaster post? We were thinking we had to have 9ft but they no longer carry those.
ОтветитьWow,..love it too,..way to drive'm in the ground,..thanks for the video
ОтветитьHow long is the post to drive 40inches and how tall isnthe fence
Ответить?
ОтветитьYou the professional right 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьYou need put ground .the post metal attraction tunder lighting .bot no boddy say you this .you see play ground for kid in the school have ground wire .number ten solid .or more
ОтветитьHow did I miss this video? Just a few short months later this fence would be tested by Hurricane Ida!
ОтветитьIs there a specific size post driver needed? Or would a typical t-post driver work as well?
ОтветитьLove It! Wish we could do it here in the northwest..way too many rocks tho
ОтветитьGood job 👍
ОтветитьThis is a great advantage over using wood post highly prone to warping twisting and cracking
ОтветитьBeen using them for years here at Countryside fence in central Wisconsin
