ОтветитьAnd I was told to eat multiple small small meals a day because when you don't eat it slows down your metabolism and your metabolism burns calories if you have a slow metabolism calories and not being burnt calories can come from fat they can come from any place so if you eat a proper nutritious diet you will be burning your fat

ОтветитьI don't get it. I am supposed to eat only when I'm hungry, but I need to have two meals in the 4 hour window of IF, I will definitely not be hungry for the 2nd meal, after just 3 hours.

ОтветитьI take collagen and Metamucil. If I’m taking that in the morning am I messing up my intermittent fasting? I don’t have my first meal until between 12 and 1. I drink that drink around 8-10.

ОтветитьI agree and i have followed many things you talk about. I eat protein, eggs, salad. I have been taking cold shower for 2 years and i try to be active ( walk out or exercise). My problem is that i think i have lost more muscle than fat. How do i gain muscle Ana maintain it but lose fat?

1. Fasting (IT, prolonged, OMAD)
2. Plenty of water
3. Excercise
4. Good sleep
5. Less stress
6. Keep yourself busy
I started your plan almost 5 months ago. The reason was to lower my A1C. I also ended up losing weight. I am down 55 pounds with no extra exercise. I don't want to lose anymore weight. I can i maintain my weight and still benifit from the plan?

ОтветитьIm definitely not able to physically do keto due to my living means but in the future definitely will try 💯. I do implement 2 meals a day, and im normally not hungry much i actually need some sugar just to not keep losing weight. I also eat 2 eggs almost every day and it keeps me full half the day. Thanks for all of your helpful advice Dr. Berg. If it were not for your supplementation advice for different things, i would not be here nor be where i am today. I am more physically and mentally healthy and due to more proper nutrition, my brain functions better than most people around me intellectually. High doses of omega 3 fatty acids have helped me with that aspect as well as anxiety, inflammation, etc
ОтветитьFasting is extremely difficult for me. Not eating will trigger a migraine and nausea, if I wait to long, severe nausea and vomiting….. any ideas? I don’t eat processed foods. My pork is organic, grown by a family member. As is the beef I eat from a local farmer…. Any idea to do the intermittent fasting?

ОтветитьThe pie chart for calories to macronutrients is confusing me. The break down is often something like
65% from fat
20% from protein
And like 5% from carbs.
What is not clear is that, are only considering NET carbs for this purpose? Or total carbs?
I cant seem to get total carbs under 20%(of caloric intake) Yet my net carbs hover around 20g-30g per day, which I believe I understand is a wonderful place to be.
Any help would be appreciated
I am on week 2 of IF doing 18/6-20/4. Just broke a 19 hour fast with a hard boiled egg from my girls and a 1/2' slice of braunschweiger! and small salad
