There's so many underrated artists with extreme talent. Tinashe, Tori kelly, Jessie Reyse, Kelani, Lady Leshure. The list could go on. It was the same in the early 2000s too, Amarie, Ashanti, Kat Daluna ,Brandi, Blu Cantrel. I feel like Beyonce took over the early 2000s and wiped out the other girlies.

I think the western view of k-pop is pretty obscure. Groups like Aespa, Red Velvet and NCT have very unique concepts and amazing songs. However, the songs are generally not in english and therefore dont get as much recognition as they should. Because yall be deaf until someone speaks english and then complain when artists from other parts of the world release hit english songs👍

The point of K-pop and pop in general is the white washing and super commercialization of rap/rnb. Pop boy bands wouldn’t exist without (obviously Motown groups but not directly) 80s/90s male groups. When they let Lou Pearlman drop the L from Blackstreet to make the Backstreet Boys it was over 😂 The rest of pop is self explanatory.
