I just now found out that this is where I first heard Grizzly Bear and I want to thank you so much. By watching something about my favourite filmmaker and idol I found my now all time favourite band. This is a pointless comment but it truly has changed my life ina good couple of ways.

Agreed. I'm not sure what it will do with future generations but I believe the limited choice in films I had as a kid made me appreciate the ones I had more and I think a big part of my love for film came from that.

I personally think that Be Kind, Rewind is one of the most underrated movies ever made. It's a film that speaks to me. Currently, I'm growing up in the age of Netflix and Redbox that there are only like 4 Blockbuster Videos left, and they got rid of all the Hollywood Videos. I remember going in, and whatever seemed cool, I'd pester my parents to rent it. Not only that, but it also shows to what extremes I will go to for movies. I make movies all the time, and it shows what little you have helps.

I think it's the stripped down version found on the deluxe version of Manners. But I don't remember it sounding like that with that christmasy sound.

I remember watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in high school and i got really teary eyed and i knew i would love watching this director's films. Eternal Sunshine is still my favorite out of all his films but each one is great (though i was disappointed with Green Hornet). This and David Fincher are probably my favorite [the films of}

I absolutely love 'eternal sunshine...' and 'science of sleep', I even enjoyed 'be kind rewind' and really feel like watching 'human nature' and 'the we and the I'... but 'the green hornet'? I don't know... feels like gondry failed with this one. Anyway, who knows? I could be wrong...

The Green Hornet didn't really seem like what he'd want to do. I hope his next one has more of himself in it.
