Thought it was a beginners video? I wouldn't call it that at all!!
ОтветитьAll clever stuff, but if this is for beginners I wouldn't like to see the advice for experienced model makers.
ОтветитьThat’s got to be one of the most amazing spitfire builds I’ve seen so far

Ответитьi bet the initial investment in this hobby isnt cheap at all even though you can dop many many kits with your paints and what not not i bet in this all in it 4 figures including compressor and spray gun easily
Ответить@TheInnerNerd I am currently half way through a spitfire kit and the decal fix i have used has left a nasty reflective effect around my decals. Now i haven't used gloss varnish only matt, i haven't had an issue like this before. Do you think what you did with the sanding sponge may work for me to get rid of the reflective effect on my decals?
Thanks
Thank you for this! It’s been years since I’ve done any scale modelling and starting to get back into slowly as work and free time allows but this guide is invaluable! Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьGood day,
You know your stuff for sure but this is deffinetly NOT a video for beginners. If a beginner watches this video he will probably get dissapointed because 1) he might never get to this high level of modelling skills you have and 2) with all these materials you used in your video (paints, varnishes, oils, pigments, airbrush, compressor, etc) how many potencial beginners do you think will eventually go down the road and spend a respectable amount of money to buy all these stuff you used in your video just to try building a 1/72 Spitfire model and decide whether they like this hobby or not? Definitly a show off video of your skills (which they are GREAT) but as I said NOT for pottential beginners, imo.
Fantastic job Sir!
ОтветитьI'm a beginner at model building, I'm building the tamiya 1 35 ww1 British mk4 tank. How do I plan out the instructions before starting the build because I've noticed that some parts could be painted before assembly such as the forward gun as painting it once it's on the model may be difficult to get to.
ОтветитьWell Done!
Ответитьtoo complicated for me, since i'm a beginner, i'm gonna go with "brand new" aircrafts 😂😂
ОтветитьThis is how educational videos should be
Effortlessly enthraing
Must be the best you can get from this kit. Great build and painting!
ОтветитьFantastic video and very easy to follow. The jig you use you say is for sale but when I click the link it tells me the shop is unavailable
ОтветитьBeautiful work. My favorite WWII plane!
ОтветитьI have a question......can I ask why, when I lay paint from a gun it comes out grainey
ОтветитьIs it possible to mix different brands of acrylic, ie, use a Tamiya primer for Valejo paints?
ОтветитьWhat tools you recommend for buliding models just bought my first model a f22 raptor
ОтветитьThank you very much for great tips )
Perfect video
Hello, just wondering why did you use 2 different type of primers, black at the beginning then grey and black when doing the aircraft body?
ОтветитьBrilliant vid. I'm getting back into a/c modelling after many years away. This is an excellent tutorial and one that I will no doubt refer to again and again.
ОтветитьIve been doing this all my life, Ive discovered a dozen new techniques this video! Thank you!
ОтветитьVery nice kit. I have a question. Why do you paint diferent to box instructions? The version the box is not correct? Best regards from Chile!
ОтветитьToday is my 67th bday. Your vid transported me back to my youth and attempts at modeling. Last week my best friend who lives across the street and is my age was building a car model. He sounded like he was inviting me to join him. I kind of passed it off thinking I’m too busy. Maybe I’m not and should become a kid again and buy a kit, paint, glue, and some tools and spend time modeling with my buddy.
ОтветитьJust amazingly well produced video👍
ОтветитьIt’s amazing how many products go into getting this quality of finish. Where I live, such variety isn’t available. But the love for model making is strong makes you innovative. 😂😂 super work. ❤
ОтветитьI have just got this kit and haven't done a model plane in over 30yrs. Thank you for a very inspirational video.
ОтветитьFor beginners?
ОтветитьThank you for this! It’s been years since I’ve done any scale modelling and starting to get back into slowly as work and free time allows but this guide is invaluable! Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьI have been modeling for around a year now and i use a paint brushes instead of a airbrush but my models still come out as good quality, this video has helped me improve ,thanks for the video
ОтветитьCould you please tell me what the camo colours are for the lanc? Is it olive drab and brown earth
ОтветитьBack in 1972 I only had the styrene glue testors tube and those little half ounce paint bottles, lol.
ОтветитьDo you realize you filled in the flaps on the wings?
ОтветитьOn tip I would share with those interested - spraying Mr Surfacer 1500 (Black, grey, white, doesn't matter) is FAR superior to any kind of aerosol primer. The only downside is having the clean the airbrush with the lacquer based paint being a little more messy to clean up - but it's absolutely worth it - the quality of the surface after the fact is like night and day, and that comparison is based on using aerosol primer for models (e.g. Tamiya black primer or aerosol Mr Surfacer 1500).
ОтветитьHi there. Some modelers might have a Spitfire models might have the RAF Sky underside instead of the half white half black underside that your model built. Is there a panel line wash that you would recommend since RAF Sky has a greenish hue?
ОтветитьThank you very much.
Ответитьperfect
ОтветитьWhy are there faint white lines by the canopy framing in the final reveal?
Ответитьwhat airbrush kit are you using ?
ОтветитьLovely video how intricate!
ОтветитьWow, a lot to take in as a beginner, this is pretty advanced technique!
ОтветитьIncredible!
ОтветитьExcelente vídeo, Felipe e Morgana. Parabéns!
ОтветитьThe way you say Mr. Surfacer has me crying laughing!!
Ответитьwow, thats amazing! i dont have any model store near me, so i dont have access to an airbrush, only a handbrush and humbrol paints that i ordered online
ОтветитьA fine testament to a fine aircraft!
ОтветитьI've recently received mine and I can't wait to see you build yours which will undoubtedly help me make a better job of mine. All the best give Jess a treat from me
ОтветитьWhat a beautifull boxart❤❤❤
