I'm actually kinda surprised there hasn't been a prequel where Sparda is the main character and we play through the backstory we know+ the reason why a demon wants to protect the humans. Ofc because of Eva but how did they meet? Stuff like that.

If Devil Sword Dante and the Yamato combine, the world would be over. The Yamato can cut through space and time while Devil sword Dante has red mirage blades slashing around him

wait. so if timeline has been retconned, and then dmc2 comes between 1 and 4, then why does dante have the SDT unlocked ? he unlocked it in 5 so it makes no sense

its a closed beta but its a playable game although some translations are laughable and ya know what thats alright, my main gripe is the "summoning" mechanic of it all where its a gatcha game but its not overly ad heavy if at all

every capcom game started as resident evil. megaman 11 probably started as a resident evil mercenaries mode.

devil trigger is such a much more fun name than demon mode.

I have a feeling that, If the Devil Sword Dante and Yamato does fuse together then Nero is going to be the one who will wield it since both brothers has to give up both of their swords and powers, just to craft the most powerful sword in the entire universe. Most likely to be used against the new form of Mundus or some other powerful demon we haven't heard about. DMC6 anyone?

i still find incredible about the dmc2 gun damage thing, cuz, it ain't true, value-wise nor comparatively, dmc2 guns are weaker than the sword even when upgraded to the max, and still weaker than dmc 1 weapons.
But hey, dmc2 enemies are literally piss easy and weak af on normal, making me think that "normal" is prob the easy mode... Since guns are less effective in hard and enemies have all their moveset unlocked.

I played DMC3simultaneously with a friend of mine when i was 11 or so. At one point I've completed the game on normal and my friend was stuck with the cerberus boss fight, I go to his place and we start gaming the whole day and beat the game basically within the day, and my friend at the end of the sesh goes to his mom like "he truly is the gaming god". My biggest gaming achievement ever. We're from italy
