ОтветитьGreat stuff
Ответитьfantastic video can't wait to try
ОтветитьThanks you Dr. Kwon! This is absolute gold! I can see my striking improving already.
ОтветитьI can’t believe I haven’t seen anything so clear and easy to follow. Thank you for your precise advice
ОтветитьTICK! TICK! TICK!!! BRAVO!!! (Dick! Dick!! dick!! - this means you aren't in rhythm!!)
ОтветитьFound about him today.. why not 2 years ago: (
ОтветитьIn the backswing portion of the shurn its seems like you are blending the leg drive and the shoulder turn. On the down swing are you consciously getting the shoulder turn as well or is it a product of the downswing in pushing off the ground and letting the shoulders ride the swing? I hope that makes sense.
ОтветитьGreat
Ответитьlove your videos. whats the weight of that kettle bell?
ОтветитьIf I'm doing this and after about 2 min of kettle bell swings I stop and I have slight lower back pain, is this because I'm not activating my ab muscles properly?
PS. First session I tried this drill at indoor range I hit a 290 yard carry drive at 119mph club speed - which is literally the fastest I've hit a ball - ever. Amazing stuff and thank you!
Hi Dr. Isn’t every step you teach made possible by an effective pendulum motion of our naval area rocking back and forth. If it were not for our stomach muscles and oblique none of what you teach would have been physically possible for humans to do.
Gary Players was the first professional golfer to say that we don’t walk to the next hole with our hands and wrists so why any golfer swings their club that way; he said they were crazy to do so.
So instead Gary taught us all that the swing centered power house is all in our stomach muscles.
Thank you Dr K for teaching me how to activate my stomach muscles. Although I wished I listen to Gary Players years ago. Cheers 😃👍⛳️.
Thank you so much Dr Kwon. From watching just a few of your videos, I've improved so much. My consistency was so bad, and I couldn't hit the ball properly, my every swing was different. I stoped playing golf for 2 years, but only recently came back to it. However, I almost gave up because I just couldn't get it right. (My golf level is very beginner level. I struggled with every club, but was mostly practicing irons.) But my boyfriend introduced me to your channel, and I just watched your playlist up until this video, suddenly my consistency was up to about 90%. I just can't believe it. I'm still astonished until now. Thank you so much! I now enjoy golfing very much.
ОтветитьEVERY golfer learning to swing a golf club should be encouraged to watch this video. In fact, this should be mandatory instruction by every swing coach out there. I literally used this video like one of those old Jack LaLane exercise videos. I put it on the big screen and moved along with Dr Kwon from beginning to end as he instructed. Not only was it extremely informative, but it was a lot of fun. Thank you, Dr. Kwon
ОтветитьBeauty of a video. This should take alot of the thinking/swing thoughts out of the swing. Notice how you shouldnt think of rotating or opening your hips. If the sequence is correct it will just happen.
ОтветитьShould weight be evenly under your feet or do you favor to keep it on balls of your feet?
ОтветитьWhat is your handicap?
Ответитьhappy to see that.. just need a clarification, Weight Shift to left is naturally happen (when turning left shoulder up and around) or need to create for (to shift to left leg) to make this movement?
ОтветитьDr. Kwon, where can I order the rope that you use, I cant seem to find it anywhere…thank you.
ОтветитьWould you recommend going backwards as well? Stepping backwards instead of forwards to help with forward extension? Thank you Dr. Kwon
ОтветитьYou are the best Dr. Kwon
ОтветитьThe new mantra from all teachers is “use the ground.” I have been trying for 3 years to “use the ground” with no success. Dr. Kwon, your teaching shows me how. Love the rope, kettlebell and all your drills. Your research and teaching will change the way golf is taught. So glad I found you and your channel. Thank you for turning your science models into transformational drills…”shift turn” is my friend. Elegant!
Ответить권박사님 질문이 있는데요, 케틀벨 무게는 몇킬로그램이 적당할지 여쭈어봐도 될까요?
성인 30대 남성이고 체격은 178cm/75kg 정도 됩니다
dr. kwon, so you are originating the turn with the lower body and do you also key on shoulders turning?
ОтветитьPracticing this movement has increased my ball speed to 152 mph and my drives are 40 yards longer. I wish that I had learned this method in my early 20s not 20 years later. However, I would recommend to anyone who is struggling to gain distance to practice how to get easy power through correct weight transition.
ОтветитьThis is a Tai Chi lesson vs. A golf lesson. Never seen the swing broken down like this
ОтветитьHow heavy is the kettle bell that you’re using?
ОтветитьWould you please put the essential concepts and motion in a written form for us to refer to when practicing? That would be very helpful. Thank you. Also how much is a reprogram session.
ОтветитьDr. Kwon, I really appreciate your research and work on the golf swing. Quick question: what weight kettlebell do you recommend for the exercises?
ОтветитьThank you for this! These videos are incredible. - One aspect has confused me in trying to implement. On the actual swing, after the initial shift-turn-shift/recenter: on the downswing/finish, are we again supposed to turn and recenter off of that lead leg? Or, should the final, lead leg press off the ground be more vertical, with a finish having weight over the lead leg? (I have found myself almost falling backwards on the through swing, so must be doing something incorrectly.) Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat stuff Dr.Kwon! From your research and looking at the best swings what’s the optimal amount of bend the upper body has from the lower body at address? Also knee bend. Thank you
ОтветитьAs an amateur trying to cure my arm swing, although these drills have helped me immensely, I find that as soon as I try to up the tempo to increase clubhead speed, my old habits kick back in; I tense up and try wacking the ball. Any guidance on producing a fast swing while still shutting the arms off?
ОтветитьDr. Kwon, you provide so much service to the golf community. Thank you!
ОтветитьDr. Kwon, how heavy do you recommend the kettle bell be?
ОтветитьThanks Doc, a lot of us suffer from "need it now" as in a instant fix, trouble is its usually only temporary, as something else will creep in to unbalance our quest for eternal consistency. Patience and good drills will help a lot for the holy grail. Helps if you realize its only a game, enjoy the walk, friendships and the surroundings.
ОтветитьHow heavy of a kettle bell?
ОтветитьGreat help!
ОтветитьDr kwon thank you so much i cant get the rope in my country any on line thanks once again
ОтветитьThis is brilliant. The golf swing is body driven. This is how golf instruction should begin. It’s like learning to dribble a basketball or soccer ball.
ОтветитьSo..In the initial motion of the body in the backswing, the body motion is a shift then turn? This reminds me of Fred Couples golf swing. He shifts first and turns very late in the backswing. Is that correct?
ОтветитьDr Kwon you rock!
ОтветитьIf I have trouble keeping my balance during the walking phase, what’s the likely cause? Thanks for all your content Dr Kwon.
ОтветитьThank u. I hit my shots with more purity using your method. Please, continue to keep it simple. Tyty
ОтветитьIt all makes so much sense. Why didn’t I find you earlier in my life in my teens. Now in my 50’s I’ve picked up all sorts of bad habits.
I’m retraining myself using these cool drills and is making a whole lot of difference. These are basically my warm up drills to set in that rhythm.
Thank you so much for The tips Dr. Kwon👍
Dr. Kwon. You are the best 👌 since I started playing golf, taking a lesson, no one in this planet teach you like you do. I think, people should learned fundamental of golf swing before engaging your teaching methods would help 100% effectiveness.
It’s such a hopeful time of year, and I wish you every good thing at Easter and always.
Cheers!
I live in the SF BAY SREA where some instructors want up to 350 dollars an hour ... they don’t even come close to what the Doctor shares in a few minutes!

Doing it pretty good, but why would I lean back with the upper body?
ОтветитьCan you tell me the size of the kettlebells? Thank you.
