Please check out their song the prisoner from the 1982 Hammersmith concert. Clive Burr plays the drums on that one and it's some of the tightest drumming you'll ever hear
ОтветитьI`ve seen them last year in Bremen, first time in my life.. live......
I know of them more than the half of my whole life....... ( 48 years )
And to see them live is a little bit like watching a thunderstorm from a warm save place...
There lightning strikes, and they mealt there crowd down to a bar of Maiden Steel,
a Liitle bit like sticking in a swamp , u can´t go cause they are so catchie, ......
U can´t resist, but they send u home with a bright smile in u´re face
I love the analysis. What I don’t love in general is everyone saying in music you need a click or a metronome. To make it perfect!! Music I not meant to be played perfectly it should eb and flow. With in limits obviously. What makes a great band playing live is letting the music eb and flow.
ОтветитьI like how the drum riffs and guitar riffs often match (mostly) and complement each other.
Ответить"Where Eagles Dare" off the album Piece of Mind has some great Nicko moments. Check it out if you haven't yet. Up The Irons!
ОтветитьAndrew, you must watch the documentary Flight 666, you'll really get a unique insight to how Iron Maiden operate and how without any radio play they get the following they have.
Great reaction as always. 🤘🏻👊🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Dude you have to check out "ghost of the navigator" from rock in rio if you haven't already
ОтветитьTry Caught Somewhere In Time
ОтветитьMoonchild from Maiden England is worth a watch
ОтветитьBRASIL 🇧🇷 🤘
ОтветитьAmazing performance. Nicko is so solid.
ОтветитьMy favorite IM song since 83'!
ОтветитьHey Andrew, kiwi living in Oz here. I was at this show, life long dream to see them. Took the wife (not a fan of rock or metal) she was blown away and loved every second.
Really enjoy the vids bro.
Really think you need to do the song Paschendale - live at Dortmund from the live album death on the road
Drama , execution amazing stage and honestly I’m not a drummer but I think it’s quite different to most of Nikkos drumming on other songs
I flew over from NZ for both of these Sydney shows. This crowd was excellent. Maiden were brilliant too.
ОтветитьKiller track and excellent reaction and Drum observations
ОтветитьI wish you could do an analysis of the song Powerslave. Either the studio version or Live from Long Beach Arena. 🤘
ОтветитьAmazing video! Nicko is the beast 🤘🏼
Maybe next video for you Trivium's Alex Bent new playthrough.
Love to watch these Iron Maiden reactions! Go get yourself some Iron Maiden merch right now.
Ответитьim so excited for the Auckland Gig.
ОтветитьI saw this live during the original Piece of Mind tour, 1983. 😋
I swear... Bruce has not lost any of his voice over the years. Just as powerful as ever. If you've never seen Maiden live, then make sure to go see them when they roll.through. It's an experience that you'll never forget. 😉

ОтветитьI have been an Iron Maiden fan since 1981 when I was 11. As a young kid and a teen, I always seemed to miss their shows in New York City. I thought after Bruce's cancer I may never get to see the band live. I finally got to see them on the Book of Souls tour and the last one in 2022. They are a-must see!
ОтветитьOne of my favorite hymns written GK Chesterton
ОтветитьI loved this channel. I loved his personality, but when I went to request 2 paypal requests it was $95. So I'm paying him $95 to listen to a song and comment on it. Do you all think that is reasonable? I was going to donate $10 per song to have him react to UFO Natural thing, and light Out off of Strangers in the night. I thought that was more than generous. Lost in Vegas who started this whole reaction thing charges $1 a month with Paytreon. He must not have many students. If I could make $95 for 2 songs I would never work a real job again. So do you fan boys think that is fair? I think he is a con man.
ОтветитьHope you get to see them next year when they tour next year, have tickets for Brisbane concert, can't wait.. Up the Irons!!
ОтветитьThe only problem with Iron Maiden shows these days is their insistence in playing new material that the crowd doesn’t know. They have so many great songs they could play a six hour show and still not play all of them. They don’t need new material. If they want put out new material fine just don’t dedicate half your live show to playing shit people don’t know.
You can see how great this song is live. Play what the fans know. I
Seven son of the seventh son live...te recomiendo saludos desde Chile.
ОтветитьLove your Maiden reactions. Here's a radical suggestion. Do the entire Live After Death concert from 1985! Up the Irons.
ОтветитьThis is Iron Maiden firing on all cylinders . Nothing like it. 🤘🔥🎸
ОтветитьI met Nicko and saw him do a drum workshop at an Iron Maiden fan convention in Brighton (U.K.) many years ago. He is just incredible and he signed some sticks for me.
Ответить"A band doesn't have to reinvent their sound every song". laughs in Faith No More
ОтветитьNicko is one of the most musical drummers in the game. Players like him and Danny Carey take monster kits and use them wisely; their phrasing and most importantly their choices of what and what not to play, when and when not to chop are what make their lines so solid and so artful.
Ответитьjust LOVE Nicko...
ОтветитьPlease review Meinl Cymbals - John Longstreth - "Saligia" by Origin video! You won't regret it!
Ответитьthis band man! i love them with all my heart
ОтветитьSeen Maiden live in London and twice in Christchurch... Can say that Sept 16th Auckland next year – Somewhere in Time set list – is going to be fantastic.
ОтветитьI totally agree with you that every band must have a characteristic sound, that makes you recognize them in any song or any part of a song. I once had a so-called friend, he used to say that Iron Maiden were repetitive and they sounded the same on every song. Needless to say he's no longer with us, he moved to another country, but, I used to say to him, is not that they're repetitive, it's just that they have that signature sound that makes them recognizable and we all the fans love.
Please do more Maiden more often.
For more Clive Burr you should listen to 22 Acacia Avenue and for more Nicko Where Eagles Dare or/and Dreams of Mirrors!!
ОтветитьI was 14 when I got this cassette. This is the song that brings me back the most.
ОтветитьI wore out my Piece of Mind record when it came out. Watching Dave Murray launch into his solo brought me to tears. Iron Fucking Maiden!!!
ОтветитьYeah Nicko messed that bit right up, he can be sloppy af at times. The studio version of this is sublime.
