Fidelity mode is almost always 30fps and I pretty much never see much of a difference between performance mode and fidelity mode on almost every game. Never use fidelity all it pretty much does is lower frames a ton🤷‍♂️

I mean, i always found your videos gimmicky and overall not good due to them mostly just being clickbait but holy crap this video is insane. Turn off ALLM & VRR? they decrease picture quality? What are you even saying...? That's the most terrible advice you could give to any ps5 owner ever. If you're playing on a panel that supports these features and you turn them off there's no reason to own a ps5

I would add that if you have your TV settings set with HDR On, if you then enable HDR on your PS5, it essentially doubles the HDR and you end up with a washed out dull picture, so only use it on one or the other device to avoid this happening.
It took my a bit of trial and error to work out why enabling HDR on my PS5 was making the picture so bad and that was the reason why

I’ll never understand people who choose fidelity over performance. Games aren’t movies, player interaction is the main difference, and the second you start moving you lose all of your precious details and fine 4K textures.
Gameplay fluidity is much more important, fidelity mode is gonna look better only when you are completely still anyway

Higher framerates any day.. nobody should play 30fps on next gen lol ..any why turn vrr off when many TVs offer freesync premium and vrr should be turned on..I noticed a huge difference in its static around character in games and movement..turn vrr on both new consoles and turn in freesync on your tv and (high) for 60fps or (wide) for 120fps.. I’ve had both consoles since release and a 120 2.1hdmi tv and I’ve tried every single thing Lmao..

This is horrible advice. I can’t believe you actually recommend resolution over performance. I mean, it’s fine you have a preference, but acting like it’s a setting we all should use is nuts. Also turning off VRR and ALM… Assuming it will force your tv into game mode and…. Turn them back on, maybe? Not sure. And ray tracing over performance, geeze…. there's a reason why LG and Sony have those on only on fancy TVs

Input lag is the worst so my advice is to never use anything else than game mode on your tv, mess around with all the other settings but not game mode when you game. For other purposes it's not needed.

Great Video. Just a quick question. I got the G9 neo 49” for work and some gaming.
Some reason it’s saying that VRR & ALLM is not available for my Monitor which is strange as I have a 2.1 8k cable plus I checked the model number of the G9 2022 made so definitely has 2.1. Can anyone help.

I just don't like how much of a graphical decline there is while playing in game mode so I turned off VRR, didn't feel like I was getting the best look I wanted out of my TV and PS5.
