It all depends on the pricing, I guess most ppl will take the ev9,

A hybrid van maybe more practical, especially for a long trip. VW is losing the opportunity and still too slow to move this van to North American. Also the price will be higher than ppl expected. Well good luck

VW should really make the gasoline/hybrid version of this minivan.

why is everyone obsessed by 0-60 times? its an EV so the main thing people want to know is the range!!!

Since the range is lacking, its great to have 6 people that can push the car for you to the nearest charger.

It’s almost an ideal car, two very important minuses: 1. range (actieradius) sucks, not even 300 km in real life. 2 not all the seats in the booth are removable. Fix that and I’ll have one tomorrow.

Battery tec isn't there for range,so 7 people with cargo in the winter with the heater on, = 7 stops to charge v 1 for a frugal diesel

Waste of time, 7 seaters need luggage space for 7, not two, and as a van should not need a roof rack

The only interesting thing ids unknown: what will be the REAL range. 230 miles (wtpf) will be in reality 70% = 161 miles = 260 km. Which is ridiculous.

I like the cat but it doesn’t seem as practical as the sharan. Why can’t this have three adult seats. It is like a normal car but a big one. Then this cost an arm and a leg.

Hi, you mentioned there will be up to 6 isofix anchorage points in the lwb version. Does this mean there will be 5 individual seats like a multivan T7 and also isofix in the front passenger seat?

The EV9 is the pick if cargo capacity is more important (trunk space behind the 3rd row is double that of the Buzz. Buzz is the pick if passenger room is more important (sacrifices some cargo room for legroom and such), especially in the third row.

For me, that likely means I'd go with the Buzz, but realistically, I'd not be that likely to get either of them in the near future, so who knows? They might both be superseded before I'm in the market.

It's very expensive, but maybe it will become a yuppie icon and finally get parents away from those awful ugly SUVs that don't even go off-road. And maybe Skoda will make a more affordable alternative. And maybe MG will make a minibus that's actually affordable.

Kia or Volkswagen? Well if the vw does not get cup holders in the mid and back rows it's gonna be Kia all the way. I have noticed that no you tube promoters have talked about this in their presentation including yours. These details are important. I do appreciate that you elaborated on the all wheel drive version. Thank you. That is new information that many skip as well. Vw needs to be ahead of the game as well by showing extras like roof racks, solar packages, towing, etc.

25cm longer ? Why not just fit a larger battery to the one already available ? You can fit a 230V inverter yourself easily to any car, 300W is only 1.3 Amps. After market inverters can output 2kw (2000W). Based on the Buzz available now at 3 miles per kw the 85 kwh battery will do 250 miles but not on a motorway. No prices for longer wheel base but it will be over £60k.

I'd like to see first what the aftermarket has planned. I'd like to see a jumpseat replacement for the center console. VW can't do it because airbag and seatbelt requirements, but there's no reason the aftermarket can't sell you one for "offroad" purposes only. Same for cargo. Want to see tie-down rails. Would have LOVED if they did a split tailgate so we could have hauled long stuff without losing our middle row or obstruction rear visability.

This is not a family car, this is an alternative for a range rover buyer.

Very poor value for money for the seating arrangements.

I doesn't not need a long wheelbase to have 3 rows....

It looks nice. That's the positives done.

Range is poor. Efficiency per kWh is poor. Infotainment is terrible. Reliability likely to be mediocre. Practicality is poor owing to the badly designed folding seats. Pricing and lead times are a joke.

So disappointed by this vehicle. Was really excited when it was first announced.
