I wish Camtasia gave an option to add 3D elements in their future version update.

175 euro just to update my old version for a cursor and a few other implements, no thanks, I specialy liked camtasia for beeing clean, what they could had improved was the color section

The updated features looks like too common for others video editor software. You should work more like different up to date transition effects. Keying, advanced shadow features etc.

I'm trying to record a webcam in 1080p resolution at 30 fps. With the Logitech C920 Webcam (that says 1080 on the device) I only got 720p, same with an even higher res webcam. I think I'm using Version 2022 of Camtasia. Can this be done with any of the version?

Best teachers i ever had used chalk on a blackboard. They communicated their ideas through clear speech and symbols. I think if you don't really know your subject, you resort to using tricks like this software to blind students of your ignorance.

I see no reason to upgrade. The updates are not worth the money. Fixing Bluetooth is a must. Not an option.

Sorry Joe I tried and tried to use the Cursor Path Creator and had no luck. I created 1, 2, & 3 graphics from steps in Snagit and imported. Then placed them on my video/time line and I could not get them to connect with my graphics (1,2,3). I will go and see if I can find a video that maybe gives more details as I know I am missing something.

Where are intros and outros. There were such beautiful intros in Camtasia 2022 which I don't see after upgrade.

Does anyone know how to edit the volume on multiple audio clips simultaneously? Is the only way to manipulate the volume to drag the green line up or down? I've looked all over for an answer and I'm stumped. This is such a basic feature, it must be there somewhere...

2023 version is full of issue, you guys wasted my time and money, so many weird issues and till now waiting for my support ticket to get replied and fixed!!!

It's great to see that At-lest camtasia is not dead and they are now trying to improve this product and I think I should have keep my subscription there :) I wish there will have some more advance features like other video editing software.

When recording the screen and webcam at the same time the view provided of the webcam is tiny, even when using the hoover function to make it larger. I need a way to size the video view at least before recording so I can properly frame what is being recording and ensure there isn't anything in the background I don't want in the frame. The best solution would be to have a way to drag the size of the webcam frame. Has this issue been resolved?

Thank you for these demos! I am struggling with the transparent background inside grouped media. I use many light grey shapes and arrows for educational tutorials, but I am not able to see them because of this new feature of transparent background in groups. If you know if this can be changed to the same color of the canvas as in Camtasia 2022 I would highly appreciate your help.

I don't know why you removed the marker and the pen from the recording bar, when someone make a pronunciation mistake, how can he locate that without watching the whole video?
with marker any one can add marker in the appropriate time so he can delete that later when he edit the video.

I love using Camtasia and each version gets better! I SO want to add Audiate to my TechSmith collection but the price is prohibitive - PLEASE TechSmith make the pricing more accessible.

Suggestion: This is GREAT! I always look forward to updates. I'd like to suggest that you focus a little more on the AUDIO side of the house. I have to learn Audacity just to have a simple graphic equalizer. This week, I'm doing an aviation video and I just want the audio dialog to sound like it's over a radio. Any public safety videos could also use this feature. Adding some interesting audio effects would be HUGE for me.

How can I copy properties after using corner pinning from one clip to another? I can’t seem to get the two clips to match up without a lot of manual adjusting.

When you are editing, can you speed up the playspeed so you can go faster (1x, 2x etc) through your footage?

I have C-2021 and I can't see a good reason to upgrade. Seriously, the last feature I need is anything to do with a cursor. The background removal is good, but why is it Beta?. Where are the new transitions and other new effects? Audiate is great - but it's a separate product ($300).I need new Annotations. And why have you still not offered video titling? Too few useful features too slowly. I'm having trouble justifying the upgrade expense.

Good presentation. I do wish I was a Camtasia consultant. I can think of some other features that are super easy to build (I've actually built them) that would make this thing even better.

Adding new features make camtasia 2023 version awesome but still there is a question where is effect like screen draw like circle ellipse rectangle that are usefull for presentation in teaxt video . This effect is last seen in version 2019 and 2020 and then it is disappeared

Would you please include tools for synchronizing the video and audio and/or a delay to let you match up the Audio and Video? As you know, more and more people are using capture cards where a delay may occur. Ecamm LIve has this feature if you need a reference point. Thanks

I don't have any Lottie files in my Camtasia 2023 library, where do I get these from?

I was very excited about the new background removal, but I've been playing around with it and it's not really doing a very good job of background removal and there is no way to tweak it once you've added it to a video. Parts of the object I'm trying to isolate get removed and much of the background doesn't, even when the background is a pretty flat grey, different from the object or person featured. It seems like there should be a way to adjust or tweak the tolerance or something to more fine tune the background removal, but there isn't. I think it isn't quite ready for prime time, at least for my needs, I'm sorry to say. I still love Camtasia, I'm just still in waiting mode for background removal to work more effectively and for Techsmith to add a shake or jitter steadying function to the software. Currently, I have to use another video editor if I need that feature.

Editing the cursor size, the cursor path and cursor image are available in Camtasia 2022. Why are these previously released cursor features mentioned in this "See what's New in Camtasia 2023" video?

a lot of gimmicky features not really useful for corporate professional videos. Would have liked to have seen at least the ability to add multiple language subtitles for the player at this stage which is a huge requirement.

Sorry. It's GARBAGE. You still haven't fixed the massive, glaring issue of how badly the program slows down to the point of being unusable when you have many edits in any video longer than about 8 minutes (even if that 8 min is comprised from multiple shorter clips). This is NOT an uncommon use case. People these days perform hundreds of small edits to remove pauses, umms, ahhs, coughs, whatever. Sooo frustrating. Sooo repeatable. Sooo obvious. Where is your QUALITY ASSURANCE team??? I'm requesting a refund and going back to version 8, which still has the problem but NOT AS BAD as the 2023 version. It's clear to me that the people who BUILD Camtasia don't USE Camtasia for real projects.

How can I have the recorder show a PREVIEW of the clip I just finished recording so that I can get visual & aural confirmation that the recording is good before I save it and move on to my next clip? I just upgrade from v8, and that version used to display the recording preview prior to saving.
