gosh i’m so late to this video but it tugged at my heart strings so hard. i saw the arctic monkeys in 2005 in san francisco and when they played fake tales, the crowd went insane. i was young and at the front of the crowd, sweaty and completely lost in the energy. i love this album forever.

This perfectly encapsulates listening to this album for the first time. Ill never forget being 14 years old watching the infamous IBTYLGOTD live performance from 2004 and feeling like my head exploded. Been listening to them in the 10 years since.

First time seeing your channel! Cool video. I’m a huge Arctic monkeys fan. I remember having this and the second album on repeat on cd back in 2006/7.

You guys clearly love and appreciate the music. Not sure whether it’s the cultural difference between Uk and USA. But you don’t seem to be referencing the lyrical brilliance. Mardy bum for example. Once you found out the meaning the song made sense and should elevate it. There is a lot of that with their songs.

This is one of the best albums ever. The first two arctic monkeys albums are just something else.

Can't believe I'm just seeing this now. Ouch, feels so good to see Kevin's excitement and Connor's enthusiasm. This album has so many nuances it's still hard for me to explain what I feel everytime I hear. For sure, having the opportunity to watch them live playing From The Ritz last year was one of my top life moments, I thought I could never experience. Next is Suck it And See, I hope. My favourite album after Tranquility Base, a fresh shift from their previous job, all the desert atmosphere and passionate lyrics. So excited! I would say Humbug is probably the best way to end this saga. Keep up on the good work. Much love guys! ❤

It’s a shame that if he went to see them now at a gig they are not the same band that made that album.

I know everyone always thinks their own eras music is the best BUT being 17 when this came out and all the alternative/indie music that came out at that time that was just parrrrrrty music was honestly so good. So so so good. Seeing them headline at Leeds in 09 and just that lineup is absolutely epic. It's so wonderful to relive it through people who also appreciate it.
