Well, I don’t suffer with an ED but I have OCD and intrusive thoughts that I’m not good enough so I kind of relate to this

When I was deep in my ED this song made me feel so seen. I’ve now escaped it to a decent extent and decided to come back and listen to it. I know it’ll try to make the voice come back but I can show it how much happier I am now

This song meant so much to me bc I have very close family members who deal with this and when I showed some of them it saved them. But for this other emo dude who she collaborated with to ruin it all is bs. I believe jaiden should remake this but by herself bc it’s not for boyinaband it’s for Jaiden and others like her.

I was looking for this song after watching her Face Reveal video again, until I remembered the allegations with Boyinaband, and yeah, it sucks that this had to be taken down because of the controversy, despite this being a part of Jaiden being personal about what she's going through. Either way, Jaiden is beautiful, she's doing great as a animator, and I wish her the best.

If the allegations are fake, fuck those people for ruining such a personal thing.

Iam a man and i have almost the same problem. I am starving myself not for losing weight but just because i cant get it down my throat. I cook pretty good and i just cant. I tried going out to eat outside its not the food that is the problem its me. When i start feeling bad ill eat something easy and thats it. I dont know what to do even thought i feel pretty bad sometimes its easier to just ignore everything. Eating feels like a torture and i am pretty sure its not normal but the thing is that i have no idea how to fix it. So what iam trying to achieve with this comment is to get some suggestions how i could enjoy the food once more like i used to.....

Man how times have changed and things are coming out and being hard to get too. I forgot about him and I come back to this after what 4 years? Damn, also if any of these allegations have been real I understand why no post from him. It makes me feel bad though to watch this video now.... I hope Jaiden was fine and not used because of that eating disorder.... That last part gives me the chills and I hope nothing but the best for Jaiden but I also worry that seeing other people posting this vid might do more harm to her than help. So people please think carefully.

I love this song but it was destroyed because ... It was very relatable and I sobbed every time it came on but I loved it because this song to me it accurately represented my journey through Ed's.

What’s surprising to me is life is fun is still up. The original version I mean. I wonder why jaiden took it down but James kept it up. I believe congratulations is also still up

I know what was alleged against Dave is bad. but this song was good for folks who have this problem. I have a friend that finally sought out help because she felt this song could have just as easily been about her. and taking an outside view that was her first step for her and the other good thing about this song was great to see how far Jaiden has come since the days before her face reveal and feeling like she was alone to where she is today.

I listened to this a few years ago and took me so long to understand this song until i got anorexia

To this day this one of the most raw songs I've ever heard, while I've never suffered with any ED, I've struggled with feeling empty and knowing that it isn't healthy but not being able to stop, I still get chills at the second verse with Jaiden

It sucks that Dave basically ruined the reputation of a very personal song for Jaiden to the point of deleting it, I hope she's doing better and maybe someday we'll see this song again remade without Dave

Back when this was still a very new song, I just liked it bc it sounded good… not i that im in my teen years, the lyrics really hit hard when you actually listen to it. Its sad and I feel bad for people who are going through this phase if life right now-

That second bridge always gives me the chills. Jaiden does that desperate cry so beautifully perfect. You can feel her entire struggle through the years

I wish there was a version of this song without Dave because this song is amazing its something that i relate to sm and idk it's powerful in a good way can't believe Dave Would do all these things i support Jaiden for the music not Dave . And i Respect her for taking down the mv

I appreciate the line that says something about that if you ask for help from someone it doesnt make you weak. I really struggle with feeling weak for wanting to ask for help with things I am going through. I just think that it is a very powerful and important line that more people need to hear and think about

I'm starting realize how i relate to this.. Its not healthy.

When this video first came out i was much younger and i knew it was serious and that it was important, but now that ive been through my own struggles with eating and my weight and body dysmorphia it just hits much more. Rewatching this i cried because of how much i relate to this, im glad jaiden has recovered, as for me in in recovery and its going well!

Boyinaband controversy aside for the moment, I remember when I was younger and first heard this song, I told myself "that'll never be me" in regards to eating disorders. Now, as a teen, it was, in fact, me. I'm an anorexic teenage dude and this song means a lot to me now because I relate to it so much. I'm proud that Jaiden's doing better and I hope that one day I can overcome my own issues and make a song about them, too.
