Quick question: On average, how long do you usually come up with the final draft of SCR and dot dash? Is it possible to draft them without essential data at the top of your mind (especially when working on niche topics)?

Dan, I think you are confusing your audience with this video. Story telling isn't about facts/statistics & solutions. What you mention is about "how to open a speech". Story telling is completely different. A story structure contains setting, theme, plot, characters, dialogue, conflict, the change point, the result, the new life.......Google Craig Valentine and watch a few of his videos.
