ОтветитьGreat attention to detail in addressing possible concerns. Definitely purchasing this one now
ОтветитьBe aware !!! This camera doesn’t support cloud storage !!!!
ОтветитьI’m wonder king what if there is multiple people how would that work
ОтветитьJust ordered one today, thank you for all the work you put into your videos.
ОтветитьThis or Wyze Cam Pan v3? I understand the Wyze is WIFI and has a subscription. Which one would be a better camera overall. Also I live in Canada were temperatures can get to -40F will these cameras freeze up and not operate in these conditions? Thanks
ОтветитьAnybody knows wich doorbell camera works with t mobile 5g?
ОтветитьYou told that the camera has two antennas because it has both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WLAN. That is not the reason for two antennas. It is because of DIVERSITY which makes reception better.
I have several Reolink cameras and am very happy with them. Especially my new 4K 180° Duo Camera is very versatile and looks just great.
I’m switching from ring to this as ring has such poor video quality. Can’t even make out faces anymore and we recently had an attempted home invasion in the middle of the night.
ОтветитьOn the wifi version, can I use a solar pannel? Can this same camera go either wi fi or PoE or are they completely separate cameras? Thanks. Marc T.
ОтветитьI bought one these and love it. With the way my house is built, there were limitations on pulling a POE cables. The spot that I could get to was perfect. I have 8 Eufy cams too. With local teen vandalism issue the Eufy's just aren't enough. With fast motion at night using PIR detection, they aren't good enough. The Reolink works great and covers a larger area than the Eufy's. I disable the spot light as I don't want to identify what it is recording. The image based detection is amazing. It recognized humans on the trash truck, bicycles, motorcycles, golf carts, scooters and my neighbor across the street moving around in his garage. (My neighbor knows and is ok with it, as it protects him too, better than his Arlo cams could ever do) It tracks well and is easy to review. Reolink also has free PC software that is way better than fooling with a phone. With it set to human detection, the 256GB memory card is enough for over a month of recordings. Word has leaked and the vandals give my house a wide berth. It is far more conspicuous than the Eufys. I have spent more on security than the cost of the custom window (ordered over 3 months ago, and still waiting for it to made and installed) that was broken, but I am happy with the protection.
ОтветитьHi, can we manually zoom to something if we want to?
ОтветитьHi, can we manually zoom to something if we want to?
ОтветитьHello sir,me again from UK.The trackmix WiFi is it compatible with Alexa echo show as I can't find any info about that? Many thanks
ОтветитьCan i use a solor panel with the wifi version ?
ОтветитьJust so you know, I have now installed two Reolink outdoor cameras. One is totally solar with WiFi, and the other is PoE. I had previously installed an Amcrest. I am not happy with Amcrest. This is a PoE one that drops video and/or fails to open live video. Having said all of that, I want to say this. I will now only install Reolink. The PoE plugs in the ethernet cable. Please connect to the PoE hub, then to my wireless routing. Boom, up and running. The backyard Reolink A830. IO had to please a WiFi extender to connect with my main WiFi router. Works perfectly. I love the tracking features.
Ответитьthanks for the review. it seems a decent camera. one thing i do not like is that all these cameras have bulky connectors. i do not want the wires to be visible. for a security cam that is a nogo. you have to drill huge holes if you want to have the wires through the wall. i would prefer small connectors that can be connected inside the camera. or that the bulky connectors can be placed in the holder/housing. I did not see any info about rtsp streams but i will watch again in case i missed it.
ОтветитьHello.. For the PoE version, can i use non Reolink Nvr? If it can What brand you suggest?
ОтветитьThanks. Appreciate the vid. Very helpful
ОтветитьOn the POE version, does it look like the bottom of the base (the part having the mount on it) can be removed? Been looking for a indoor window sill tracking camera with sd card like this but with poe/ethernet capabilities.
ОтветитьThe camera in the video you show has no antennas.... When you click on the link it shows the camera with two antennas which one is newer?
ОтветитьThanks for your great video. Between this camera and the 81MA, which one will you choose ? Why ? Thanks a lot.
ОтветитьPlease, any upcoming high quality 8K camera from Eufy or Reolink?
ОтветитьHi, love your comparisons and testing. First-time surveillance system buyer. Need a system for a residential construction project and then will move the system to our home or other location. Am going poe, but would like the flexibility of wifi for one or more cameras.
Question: Are there any negatives of the wifi version compared to the poe version? They are basically the same price, and if you can still run the wifi one on poe, is there any tradeoff? Thanks so much!
Does this have continuous recording 24/7 I have the Wi-Fi one but didn’t realize it’s only recording when motion activates it 😢I love it but I need something that always records
ОтветитьI have the Reolink track mix Poe camara do i need the POE switch to powered the camara ?? Over the Ethernet cable ?
Ответитьwill this work with widows 11 pc?
ОтветитьGreat video, can you get this to scan the area with the pan function so it covers a wider area, or is it just when it's tracking?
Ответитьcan you set up a specific rotation angle so it does not get distracted by the neighbor's noises or movement next door?
ОтветитьIm trying to switch from eufy to this so the WiFi version of the reolink trackmix can be used with jjst power or do i need Ethernet to use it?
ОтветитьQuick question, can the camera do a constant sweep? going back and fourth until it detects a person/car and then starts tracking?
ОтветитьGreat reviews thanks. I just changed my old rlc-410s for an Rlc-511a and a 510a. Has almost totally fixed the issue of being bombarded with false alerts, but I think I’ll still need a separate IR light to stop the spiders (there are times when I can’t get to house to clean lenses). Was interested in this trackmix to replace the 510a at the back as I cant cover it properly with just one cam otherwise. No patrol mode however so may still be no use tome. Need to look again at the field of view specs you give to work out what it will see. Thanks again!
ОтветитьCan you switch off the auto tracking mode on the TrackMix and use it as a static if you need?
ОтветитьHello, I really enjoy watching your videos because you explain things very well. I bought several cameras from Reolink and after this video also the track mix. Now I have questions about the 823 and the track mix that Reolink didn't answer: what are your autotracking settings and how does it work with the dual lens? I have a system with Reolink NVR and all cameras are PoE. Can you help me? Thanks in advance and greetings
ОтветитьThe one your holding a plate number is very helpful. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьCan you store video on your own ftp server on either or both of these cameras? I don't much like the idea of cloud storage.
ОтветитьAnd also this camera have option do not record aria selected by you, like your neighbors houses.
ОтветитьNot sure why, but through the mobile and desktop apps I only get one camera lens field-of-view... I can swap the single view to Wide-Angle or Tracking but not show both, which is rather frustrating! Assume this is related to the latest app versions having changed? Or is there a configuration that can be changed to achieve a view of both lenses simultaneously?
ОтветитьCould upload on the Internet or is this just recorded base at home?
ОтветитьI just bought this camera from Amazon. I do not like the duel lens I just prefer optical zoom. Also, if you ever do review into details of their software really complain about how you always have to turn on the clear mode because it constantly wants to default to a lesser quality video which is very very annoying. There best camera I tried and kept is the 16x zoom camera. Great video 👍.
ОтветитьThanks for the very good test. But a question: so it isn't possible to rec in 4k with the tele lens, without using the wide lens, in manual mode for example? This for I would use it to filming wildlife... (this just if the 4G version, that I would purchase, has the same characteristics of the wifi-poe version). Thanks
ОтветитьThat thing is a beast! Nice video
ОтветитьCan we set this to return to a specified home position after a certain time of in activity ?
ОтветитьBought the TrackMix PoE camera and there’s no tracking method option on my app
ОтветитьI purchased a trackmix, it was not working with the NVR, so I upgraded the Nvr,got it work. There was no added features for the trackmix such, AI tracking ,so I try upgrading the camera and it stop working. Can the original software be installed again.
ОтветитьWhat’s this like compared to the E1 Outdoor? I’m not sure whether to get the TrackMix, E1 Outdoor or wait for the E1 Outdoor 4k. Any recommendations?
ОтветитьThe spec sheet on Reolink website lists the Ethernet port on both models to be only 10/100. But it doesn't list which WLAN band it supports. Does it support WLAN N? AC?
ОтветитьLifeHackster - thanks drilling down on IP camera products and presenting the results - I need some advise. I am a retired LEO (law enforcement officer) and we live on a 4 acre lot down a long driveway in a more rural than urban area. I maintain the professional paranoia I developed while on the job. I have purchased and installed various cameras over the years. At the moment, I have 3 Ring flood lite cams covering the back and both sides of the house with a Ring doorbell cam in front. All are 1st generation and starting to get wonky. I bought and installed the TrackMix WiFi version camera. My goal is to be able to pick up a license tag for vehicles that come down my driveway, do a 3 point turn and leave. It happens 4 or 5 times a month. There are 5 driveways in the col de sac and people often pick the wrong driveway. My concern (read "paranoia") is that one of those accidental visitors is some dudes casing a remote house to burglarize or worse. I am disappointed with the 2 lens TrackMix. My hope that the zoom lens would capture an image of the license tags of vehicles coming down my driveway. The camera pans and zooms but haphazardly. I was disappointed that the TrakMix doesn't offer Reolink's cloud storage service. My other internal cameras do which is a cheap and easily accessible service to view captured video. I am using the internal micro memory card and it only captures movement. I will explore signing up for an FTP service - but why do I have to when Reolink has one.... but not for the TrackLink. I only capture 1 in ever 8 or so license tags. I am now looking at the 16x optical zoom Reolink camera as the possible solution. If you will share your unique knowledge, will the 16x do the trick or is there another camera out there that can record activity in the front of my house and also follow a vehicle down the driveway to my parking/turn around pad and also zoom in to capture a license tag? Rick
