Mother with birth control implant still gets pregnant

Damn. I hope it fell out and is not somewhere trapped in a different part of her body. I would like an update on this story.

i got mine at the beginning of november, about 2 and a half weeks later i’m having light cramps and some bleeding that i’m scared is implantation bleeding; haven’t had any symptoms like nausea though, im terrified but hoping for the best

I saw a article that said it could travel to the lungs or down the blood vessel she has to get thoroughly checked. It cant just disappear. That's scary😡🤯😱 beware if you don't feel it it probably traveled somewhere else.

I actually got mine taken out after three years because it moved.

This happened to me in 2019 but my implant didn't get lost I had to get it taken out the day I found out I was pregnant after almost a month-and-a-half 🤦🏿‍♀️ I'm also a petite woman.

The truth is these things are not 100% as ai write, Im pregnant and it was only due to expire in 4 months time🤦‍♀️

Well it’s doesn’t go into effect until a week after getting it, so if you have sex right after getting it & not using protection of course your going to get pregnant bc it doesn’t immediately work it takes a week, I got mine & I can say it’s been great I love it ! Bc I don’t have to worry about taking a pill or anything the only thing that happen was light bruising where it was placed . I mean they can do X-rays to find it or if they can’t find it, it might be deeper under her skin if fat grows where it’s at

Based on my google research its less effective if a woman is heavy. I have mine for 2 years now. I'll have it removed this september.

My dr told me that There is a 2 week waiting period too, so you cannot have unprotected sex for 2 weeks or you can get pregnant

My son is only 4 months ! and I got the nexaplon shortly after I had him and I got a period that lasted 18 days which was out the norm for me but some friends of mine that had it as well said that was normal .. anywho it’s been over a month and I still haven’t had one . I don’t know if that usual , that I stopped getting them or what . But I was having cramps throughout the whole month , so I thought It would come but it never did .

I’m glad I got my implant out my arm for good on sept 24,19 the doctor told me it was suppose to b remove in 2015 & I thank god mines was still in place & the doctor didn’t have trouble geting it out since it been in me for over 3 years
