A friend from Russia told me that back then such was music forbidden and to get a record illegally coasts a fortune so they found a way to record it on x rays hence you had to go to clinic make up a story so you make x ray take it somewhere so you get it recorded and then party while you. Simply brilliant.

I'm 64 and I have always treasured Uriah Heep's music from the early days with David Byron, Gary Thain and Ken Hensley. The legacy Heep! Great music this "The wizard" track. So wondeful to go back and recall these folks still as living souls. Mick Box still honours his past mates. Great Ken Hensley vocals! Long live Uriah Heep!

This is my families anthem. When we all get together we belt this out and all sing together. So much love.

This song has more meaning today in 2024 than it did in 1972. Always one of my favorite songs by these guys. Rest In Peace Ken Hensley, Lee Kerslake, Dave Byron and Gary Thain. Gone but never forgotten.

I have to laugh at the dancing girls behind them, no soul. Way out of step to the music. Band sounds great. Not all bands where as good live compared to the album sound. Uriah Heep was not one of them, great live band.

This song is pure magic, i can see clearly the Wizard or best i can feel it.

I use to drop really good four way orange sunshine and blast this song. It was a great tripping song. What happened to our music. Its so bad today. I miss real rock an roll.
