nah my mom went to school with the author of the gossip girl books and the girls serena and blair were based off of--i forget what my mom had said but think those were their real first names anyways they went to the elite private all girls manhattan school nightingale bamford and theyd been friends with the author---as far as i know thats basically where the inspo ends essentially but who knows
