Today is Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day!

Thanks to events like BRA Day, we have the ability to increase awareness of breast cancer and reconstruction, and the number of reconstructive procedures performed in the US has increased every year!

Of all the procedures Dr. Vemula performs, breast reconstruction is amongst the most rewarding, and it is humbling and inspiring to see the strength and courage of our breast cancer patients. It is an honor and a privilege to be part of their journey.

Let’s continue to raise awareness for breast cancer and reconstruction so that we can close the loop on breast cancer. Every breast cancer patient deserves access to breast reconstruction and to be informed of all of their options.
