Hi Laura, thank you for the inspiring video. If you get chance also do a cost of living in Bali video . Eg for a month how much would the rent , food and other stuff living there as a foreginer

I think it was good you lived in London and I'm saying this as someone who lives in Vancouver in Canada. Both cities are among the most expensive cities in the world and it challenged us to come up with solutions. And having lived in these expensive places, it also takes away the fear of moving to other places that are usually by far way less expensive than the once we were in before. We know how to survive and it will feel like such a relief, too, to deal with a lesser financial burden. As they tend to say about New York City: "If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere!"

Big risks = big rewards. The most painful thing is to listen your close ones or family to tell you "you can't do this, just leave it.". It just hit on another level ... Laura keep going forward!

Before you decide to move to Bali to work as a photographer, it would be better for you to know that foreigners are strictly forbidden to work as photographers in Indonesia, its a job reserved for Indonesians.

Hi Laura! I am Italian, I moved to London and like you I moved away to Portugal, similar time as you, London it is not the same! Actually, I'm not really thinking about moving, but I'd like to start going regularly to Vienna and perhaps other parts of Austria as well, as I believe it's potentially where I could make a better living as a photographer and I'm really struggling because my German isn't that great any more as I don't use it regularly. But perhaps I should give it a try, after all 🙂 Also, when I spent a year working as a volunteer in Estonia, it felt a bit uncomfortable at the beginning, but over time I made friends there, managed to learn the language to a decent degree and in the end I felt unsure whether I wanted to go back to the Czech Republic 😄

I haven't started mine photography yet, but I have a feeling my city currently will hinder me from been very creative and reaching lots of people, so from the on set, I have planned to move after a while to SA (South Africa) from Ghana. Hopefully next year God willing when my gear is ready

It's Funny I left my Full Time Fire Fighting Job. I was ready to leave for months, but one day someone yelled at me over the intercom, and well I told him to go F--- Himself. So needless to say I don't work there anymore, and now I'm focusing on creative stuff
