ОтветитьComing to this video I thought you meant REAL special operations. Not training school 2-week long. As it comes to real "special operations" (Battle, that is), I think the best way may be the history-old-wisdom (and I take the Judean forces fighting in the 1st and 2nd century BCE (documented) - that is fasting before battle. May sound counterintuitive, but it works better on many levels. (including you do not need to evacuate yourself in mid-battle...)
Ответитьtbh they dont eat that healthy in the Army or the Navy. lots of carbs like bread, and rice. meals are cooked but not Keto Genic diet. Which is one of the best nutrition plans there is.

I did not know that about myself when I was still young enough to do so.
What about when you stuff your stomach and there’s actions fight at the bat. You know bc you can’t really plan an ambush. Wouldn’t you now be fighting a cramp and your enemy simultaneously just as much as if you needed energy for a long one

What would the idea be like, war looks real for so long.

ОтветитьNo military experience, and combat experience is limited, But as a leftist, with REALLY bad ADHD+PTSD, and I work 3rd shift in a physical role, here is my insights.
1: Understand your food, and sometimes politics needs to take a side step. Alot of leftists are vegan, and while I understand and I support eating less meat, its definitely one of the fastest ways to get alot of calories. on the plus side, there is alot of leftist communities who are willing to help you if food ever becomes a problem, look into your Food Not bombs or Socialist rifle association and see if they have a "food locker," they may also help you grow a permacultured garden. Unfortunately you will get some fucking annoying ass vegans that will bitch at you for eating meat.
2: Getting medication helped reduce my need for caffeine, at the cost of calories. A monster energy drink is about 230-280 calories, its all sugar but its something. For me, my attention went from hyperactive to more so regressive, so I slow down without medication or caffeine. Most situations where I do not have access to a stimulant is only for a few days. and I definitely need one for my job.
3: For Christmas last year, my parents gifted me a garmin watch, I highly recommend someone get one to understand what kind of calories you are burning on your day to day tasks. I quickly found out that I will burn an extra 1000 calories when I do one role at work than another, given the difficulty for me to eat (paired with the ADHD and medication), I am weeding my way out of that role.
After this video the average 400lb sedentary dude will feel more justified to just eat more and feel good about it

ОтветитьI’m surprised you didn’t mention fat adaptation. When 70-80% of daily energy intake comes from fat one can easily switch to body fat as a fuel source without any drop in mental or physical energy. I can go 3-5 days fasting and still have full power. I imagine that would be an advantage for any special forces to be adapted to that. Why isn’t the military actively utilizing the amazing fuel flexibility of the human body? We carry 70-90 thousand calories available to us anytime. It only takes a couple of months for the body to adjust to this, but it’s such an advantage 😊

ОтветитьIm not military but really enjoy this video as its somethingnive been perfexting in my own life. I am tall and was skinny, but after changing my diet i am a perfect middle ground and adapt easily to the seasons. The main change i made was high protein all the time, eating every 3 hours to maximize muscle recovery and also not enter ketosis.
One of the reasons i stated out of the military is the quality of food, as i am an organic farmer and have made my food quality my lifestyle, because it plays a huge role as far as allotment of nutrients per pound of food, but i assume there are not a lot of local organic options in military chow halls

ОтветитьFrom the ancient time people lived on starches food. Specially during the Roman empire gladiators eat whole wheat poridge. IF you wanna endure the all tasks you gotta avoid coffeine, alcohol and ciggaretes. Dark coloured legummes are also excelent source of protein and like cereals and nuts gives you a lot of strenght.
