Ответитьmeron b pang hollow tech n bb?
ОтветитьThis is useless because masisira yong mga cups kasi ang mga cups d compatible sa bearing tsaka yong bearing d magtatagal masisira din... walang kwenta to...
ОтветитьSukat to sa ixf bb?
ОтветитьFrom his example of repacking the caged (not loose) bearings, grease must very expensive where he is located. Small wonder he wants to replace his ball bearings with anything. Little to no grease is a recipe for troubles
Ответитьlods anong bottom bracket yan?
ОтветитьYou can just change it to sealed bearing BB unit. The process will be more simpler and less maintenance
ОтветитьNice experiment, but It'd be a far better idea to simply replace with a purpose designed sealed bearing bottom bracket. What you did there fucks up your chainline completely.
Ответитьpwede ba to sa vintage bikes na walang thread?
ОтветитьHi. Was the chainline not at all affected by this conversion?
ОтветитьSomewhat ok idea, terrible execution. You don't have enough thread engagement of the cups in the shell. This WILL lead to damaged threads on the frame. If you really are dead set on doing this conversion, go to ebay, your local used bike shop, or bike co-op and find a spindle with a similar overall length but shorter span between bearing races. Alternatively you could grind down both spindle bearing races and press fit a sealed bearing in their previous locations. The quickest, easiest, cheapest, and best option is to buy 11 new loose bearings for each side and pack them in a quality marine grease.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьI think much better solution is to install cartridge instead old shaft with two bearings. Yes, this is much more expensive but once you install a cartridge and you will forget about this problem forever.
ОтветитьDoes it come with pedals?
Ответитьpwede ba sa Japanese bike yn?
ОтветитьSealed bearings aren't menat for use with loose bearing cup races. The bearing system in a bottom bracket with cup and spindle is meant to be a floating bearing system. The bearings themselves are not meant to be fixed in a non-moving position, which creates more friction by not doing the job of handling axial loads. You wind up having to actually do more maintainence due to quicker bearing wear due to friction because the bearings won't float in straight line anymore and will move side to side in the cartridge, because of the fixed position in the cup. This is why bearing races in loose bearing systems are rounded, including the spindle edges, which is also going to wear out the bearing cartridge, because it's not designed like a flat spindle, it has a rounded concave step meant to be an inner bearing race.

ОтветитьJust buy a sealed cartridge bottom bracket.
Ответитьturn that awful annoying background repitive noise off you dumbed down degenerate dickhead
ОтветитьFor who don't know, this is an old cup and cone bb..so it needs correct bearings's adjusting with special tools, to prevent hard or loose rotation of axle and pedal
ОтветитьThis is very wrong lalo lang lalaki gastos pag nasira instead bumili ng sealed bearing bb na

ОтветитьWhats the size of ur bottom bracket and the spindle?
ОтветитьDo all modern bikes now use sealed bearings?
ОтветитьWelcome idea. ❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьYou just added more weight to the BB. That type of BB is already in the 300g range. There is a reason Shimano and Campagnolo use ball bearings with a cup and cone interface in their wheels and the BB would have the same benefits, it just spins better with less friction and therefore would last longer. You just have to properly maintain the bearings which I consider fun because I like to work on my bikes.
