Oh god I hope they remove co op from RE5. Having a partner is annoying and takes a lot of suspense out of the game because you know there’s always someone there to back you up. And being forced to play with an AI partner is worse. If you want co op just go play the og RE5, it doesn’t need to be in the remake

In defense of Nu-Ashley

Her wanting to become an agent badass like Leon is a cute moment. Her becoming a screaming damsel after also makes sense because anyone would be scared. She's still young and has no experience but it doing her best.

The remake only LOOKS more realistic. It’s still got the goofy stuff from the original. It’s just been changed to be more scary

These sins just make it feel like you slept through half the game while you watched someone else play it

Ok, there is a nitpick, code names often are checked once at the beginning of a mission given the com link is secure, which to this point it was, you usually noted subjective or potentially wrong critiques otherwise so I wanted to mention this, this is still a great video tho

The one thing i can really applaud the remake for is making ashley attractive enough and not so annoying that i dont just toss her in a dumpster and leave her. I say "attractive enough" when really shes a freaking fox.

operation javier in that light gun game was leon and krauser both exploring a tip off about missing girls and after a man named javier, some 'druglord' but turns out to be using bioweapons the same as umbrella.
the thing is, it has severely been retconned. it wasnt a group of soldiers going out to the place, it was just leon and krauser.
krauser's arm was heavily injured by one of the beasts during a fight. it never fulled healed, thus he was forced to resign from the army. (theres also a hidden mode to which you hear krauser's inner thoughts. and at one point he comes to the conclusion of seeking out wesker to gain power. after witnessing the 'missing girl' gain fire blood power (without mutating further).
theres alot more to it but yuh.

Jesus of course he was going to take a shot at the old RE games. Just because he doesn't like that style doesn't make them bad. Now as someone who dislikes o.g. 4 I will mostly agree with him on the game's pacing. Except for the island the pacing was pretty good.

Re4r is a perfect game, its objectively just as good if not better than the original. But the original is also a perfect game, and in comparison every thing the remake does wrong feels stupid because they literally had the game right there. If this is the game we had in 2005 it would he just as popular, if not more. That being said after playing the original for the first time recently, the game did jot need a remake, at best it xould use a graphics overhall but that isnt even necessary because it looks damn good for a game as old as me.

Let’s not forget this game is set around the time after 9/11 & the booming of raccoon city 🤷‍♂️tensions are pretty high. Which you also state a couple of sins after that! About Leon, attacking a village full of Spanish villages i’m just saying these sins videos don’t do a lot of forethought🤷‍♂️ & yes I know it’s a joke but a lot of them just seem silly & not yelling given much thought 🤷‍♂️

"Remove co-op" is The only thing i strongly disagree with... re5 co-op was one of the highlights of my childhood, and so it was for many people I know... and playing a possible re5 remake with my brother and friends either on split screen or online would be a blast in my opinion.

Salazar looks Doc Brown if he became addicted to crack.

You forgot to mention how in the beginning of the game flash backs to Leon's training in boot camp with krauser, they let him keep his long hair.

Him having it as a cop is a stretch but boot camp? ya right, they definitely would have made him shave his head for that.

I'm sorry but OG Resident Evil 4 sucked ass.....this remake was much needed.

So as far as the Ashley infection sin, I believe I remember that it was mentioned in a document that thr plaga takes on the traits of their hosts and ramps it up. The merchant is infected and still focused on money. Leon is a fight til the end kind of guy whereas Ashley is a scared noncombatant. The plaga COULD also spread faster in bodies that are active. Ashley has been kept locked up. Leon has been moving non stop.
