I’m fine in the elevator, but once I get off and I still feel like im on it for a few minutes thats what makes me sick to my stomach

i have this experience every time. i try to avoid lifts where possible

i hate to use them at weekends or xmas time when no staff around

I’m an electrician , bull rider , snake lover , hunter, fisherman and a stubborn biker… I am claustrophobic. I got on an elevator a few days ago and it got stuck for a few minutes. There were two other guys on it with me. I was so close to going into a panic attack. I was screaming inside. Claustrophobia sucks.

Omg same. I start physically dying. Lol I recently tried jumping out in a drive thru car wash.😢 the AC stopped and I thought I was suffocating and started ripping off my sweater..glasses..seatbelt..I felt like I had to be naked hahaha I rolled the window down. I'll never go in one again

I DO. The elevator stuck at 7th floor and i had to wait about 11 minutes in it. And the engine was trying to pull up the elevator but something was stuck...

Why do you think I use the stairs

That's the reason why I always stay away from elevators. I always go by stairs. Or anything else. If not than I got with a friend. But than I hold their arm

Im good with elevators, but escalators freak me out. Terrified it will stop and I'll lurch forward; shoe and foot will get caught and destroyed; will forget to step off; will lose balance stepping on and fall down.

This happens with me after a power cut down when i was using an elevator. Although the power restored in a few seconds but that stuck feeling triggered everytime when i use an elevator 😢

This is exactly why if i have a apartment, i would always chose the lower floor like 1st/2nd/3rd floor

I have claustrophobia so I hate it in a elevator so I always ask to use the stairs but sometimes there is only elevators

I'm always like "oh my gosh I can't breathe I'm gonna die in here what if I get trapped" even though I'm literally breathing

I get scared cuz I think the door is gonna close on me and kill me or I’d fall in the tiny gap between the door and the floor-

I was once stuck in an elevator with my brother in 2019 at a hotel for 3hours and at the time I was 6 and I had to use a keycard to activate the elevator and we pressed the fire department emergency button and and you had to have a FREAKING SPECIAL KEY THAT ONLY EMPLOYEES HAVE SO WE COULDNT USE IT AND WE ENDED UP BEING IN THER FOR 6 HOURS TOTAL👺

It honestly makes me sad to see so many other people deal with this in the same way i do
