Myles, I have been following your RV channel for a year but I ended up following your Firmly Unbound channel because you are my brother in Christ and I wanted to support that as well. I’m so proud of you telling your testimony and remember “We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony”. I completely agree about desexualizing your mind, but I understand how hard it can be when literally everything in society has been sexualized, you cannot turn anywhere without seeing sex. Brother. I used to be an addict of a different sort. Substance abuse. God smacked me down and he smacked me down hard.

I got through it and changed my lifestyle. But, things didnt really get right until I took Jesus Christ into my heart as my Lord and Savior.

Grt8 u had the courage to fight off the demons! U seem such a nice handsome guy. If u resist the devil he will flee. Just like the devil tempting Christ. Quit thinking of the past u can only change the future. Ur rv videos r really good. Nobody's perfect even the aspotles they sinned. Remember Christ is the only one sinnless, and he died for everyones sins.

Sharing my testimony with others and serving God has changed my life — and has been a powerful part of my life. It was apparent that the Spirit moved you to do this as you experience a burden being unloaded as you shared. Something similar happened the night I truly came to Christ. The power is real and the blood will never lose its power.

Thank you Myles for sharing ! There is no new sin under the sun. Men and women both struggle with sexual immorality and there is not enough healthy discussion around the matter. Porn is super damaging and so I am grateful to the Lord , first of all for rescuing you from your past life but also for now using you to help other men in a possibly weaker state. We can always find someone struggling a bit more than us and help them. I’m sure the Lord will use this video to bring conviction in peoples hearts, hopefully leading to godly sorrow that leads to true repentance and then they too will find peace in the forgiveness of their sins through
the finished redemptive work of
Jesus Christ on the Cross.

Wow.. how courageous you are to share your testimony. After a very turbulent life I was encountered and radically saved by Jesus in 2020 right before the pandemic. I was suffering from extremely demonic paralysis, depression and oppression. It was immediately lifted and my life has never been the same. I feel sorry for the version of me that had to go so many years without knowing my savior on a personal level and walking around with a whole in my heart due to being estranged from Him… God bless you and your family. What a brave act to share your testimony that glorifies the Lord.

This took a lot of guts. Pornography is an addition for sure. Thankfully, you found the way, the truth, and the light. Hopefully you were also able to find someone to talk to. Wishing you peace.

My nephews friend used to talk to me about his porn addiction, and how it had to be bigger, badder and more explicit to get the same result. It anaesthetises you to “normal” sexual behaviour, and you just need so much “more”.
I do feel that people in your comments section, who went all out for you, and called you the worst things, should have their lives examined under a microscope, we all have things we’re not proud of, and would prefer it didn’t get out into the wider world. Well done for trying to overcome this. Certain addictions have better public acceptance, food and sex, less so, because they’re so difficult to avoid, we need to eat, and we’re sexual beings. You’re doing amazingly Myles, and nobody from the past would ever be able to try to hold exposure over you, because you’ve already gone there first.

I commend you for sharing your story. It is not easy to talk about. I have walked this walk with someone I love being addicted to p*ornography. I also share your deep convictions about the exposure of our society. It infuriates me when people say "that's just what boys/guys do". I feel that our youth need to be educated and warned of the danger of this addiction and of the consequences to themselves and to those they love and that love them. It was very detrimental to our marriage. I am so touched that you are willing to share in hopes to help others avoid what you have been through. I understand the shame and the stigma, but try not to feel that, but be proud of yourself for stepping up to try and help others! Thank you so very much for having that strength! I'm so glad you shared your story and I'm certain it will help someone! The biggest part of what you said for me, was when you spoke about keeping everything a secret! That is something that definitely resonates with me! I went to school to obtain a criminal justice degree because I was PASSIONATE about becoming a homicide detective! At that time, when I was still in college, I applied for the police academy. I was absolutely devastated when I got a call saying they were indefinitely going to have to cancel all academy classes, due to the economy. In fact they were paying police officers to take early retirement in order to slim the payroll budget. This was around 2009 or so. Once the economy recovered and they began testing for an academy class, I wasn't physically able because I had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Luckily they were able to surgically remove all of the cancer and I didn't have to go through chemo or radiation, but the surgery and the months that followed I dealt with severe pain and was prescribed pain medication. I had never even experimented with drugs because I was an elite gymnast and also because I really wanted to be a detective! Just as so many others I ended up physically dependent on opiates and even though I knew I was no longer taking them for physical pain, I was already in too deep. The only way I could continue to get prescription was to go to the ER, which I did, a lot! My primary care doctor was still giving me pain medication but my tolerance was so high that I would go through my prescription within a few days. After being red flagged at all of the hospitals in Denver, I started lying about my name and social security number. I would just make everything up. I got away with it a few times but I eventually got caught. The hospital obviously kicked me out but I didn't get in any trouble. The next week I decided to try again at a different hospital where they wouldn't recognize me! Unfortunately, the social security number I made up, came up as a 90 year old lady. The hospital called the cops and long story short, I ended up with a felony, my dreams were crushed and I felt like I had nothing to live for. At this point both my fiance and I fell even deeper into addiction and on January 3rd of 2020, my fiance died of an overdose! At 1st my use of opiates intensified, but through the grace of God, I was given the opportunity to move to the other side of the state and get sober. My 1st day sober was August 24th of 2021! With God all things are possible!!! ❤

Myles as a believer also I feel it necessary to remind you that all your sin is forgiven. Let yourself let go of the guilt.And your past. Truly forgive yourself. We are our hardest critics!When you do that your life will truly change. It’s always hard to forgive ourselves. The enemy is alive and well and likes to convince us that we aren’t worthy due to our sin nature! I am thankful that you have chosen a public forum to help spread awareness. Young people are so at risk. Especially now with the internet right at their fingertips. I pray Gods healing over your mind. ❤ momma P….
