Yulia Efimova Speaks Out About How Lilly King Made Her Olympics a Nightmare

U.S. swimmer Lilly King has been outspoken/finger wagging about Russia's Yulia Efimova being allowed to compete in the women's 100-meter breaststroke Monday after she'd failed a doping test earlier this year. ..Then, Efimova lost to King in the actual race on Monday, and everyone was pleased as punch. After the race, during which Efimova won silver, the 19-year-old King told NBC, "I hope I did. We can still compete clean and do well at the Olympic Games, and that's how it should be."..Now, Efimova is speaking out. …In an interview with USA Today, Efimova said that her Olympic experience was... not great. According to the paper, there were boos every time Efimova walked onto the pool deck and awkward press conferences having to sit next to King and avoid eye contact. "It was war," the 24-year-old said. "It was like a nightmare. This completion is a relief because I love racing, but this was more like a war."
