😎👍 NOAH!!!
ОтветитьI dig that set up...
ОтветитьNice kit sounds great great playing.
ОтветитьI play a 1979-1980 gretsch (transition badge)with 18 kick, 12 and 15 toms. That’s right, a rare 15 floor tom that’s the best of both worlds. Red walnut finish.
Istanbul Agop (various models) but my fav 22 is a 30th anniversary early model. Lathing, hammering and finish is different than current models, and looks and sounds more like a $2,500 old K
Noah crushing as usual
ОтветитьCongratulations. The most 'out' looking set ever!
ОтветитьGreat drumming and a nice kit as well.
ОтветитьThere are two cats I would pay to hear them play a solo drum concert.
Brian blade snd Noah.. truth.
Both snares sound great!
ОтветитьExcellent choices in drums and cymbals. I’m a 12/14/20 guy. Excellent playing too Noah! 🏆
ОтветитьGreat sounding drums..
Do you tune the same way as Steve, or do you have your own method..?
Till now, I always persisted in my love for drumkits from the 90s, such as my Premier Genista (damask red: 20/16, 10/8, 12/9, 13/9, 15/12, 16/16, 14/6.5 snare). My interest is moving more and more to the vintage ...this vid is one of the reasons :)
Cheers from the Netherlands
Awesome kit Noah
ОтветитьI love the dumpster dive story. How come there’s never a snare drum when I jump in? Great little kit and very smooth playing Noah. Both tunings sounded very rich!
Ответитьthis isn't specifically important, but is Noah a Maxwell?
ОтветитьBeauty kit! Great drumming as always. Love those cymbals.
ОтветитьHey Noah, what/who do you like to listen to?
Ответитьbeautiful playing
Ответитьgood hairstyle
ОтветитьI have the exact same finish & sizes. Plus matching snare. Fantastic drums.
ОтветитьHey Noah! Gonzalo from San Juan. Beautiful fluid playing & great sounding kit. I’m also a Gretsch guy(RB circa 66-67),Istanbul Agops & mostly Ludwig Snares. Dang! There must something there🤣.
ОтветитьYou need an Instagram!
ОтветитьThose sound FANTASTIC! I have a 60s round badge kit, but in 13, 16, 20... and I occasionally use a '67 Supraphonic. I wish I had the 12 and 14 toms instead. Those cymbals also...perfect.
ОтветитьBoth tunings and both snares were beautiful sounding. Always enjoy hearing you play! BTW, my first snare drum was a Pioneer, which I bought back in the mid-sixties.
ОтветитьIncredible. Thank you!
ОтветитьI absolutely love that kit. The drum wrap especially unique
Ответитьsounds fantastic!
Ответить"Beautiful, baby!" Noah, you are absolutely the right owner for that Gretsch kit, nice touch, as well.
ОтветитьDamn … I thought my Gretsch RB olive satin flame in 18/12/14 was rare …
Never even knew about this moon glow finish
Love everything about this
ОтветитьAll I can say is WOW.
ОтветитьInventive fun playing as always Noah! It's always a pleasure! Great set up!!!!!
ОтветитьExtremely nice playing! I love it.
Ответитьthis young man can swing it
ОтветитьBeautiful kit Noah! I haven't seen that finish before, new favorite for me! They really sang with that higher tuning, great playing man 🤙
ОтветитьYou are a great player...
ОтветитьNice choices! Those Gretsch sound fantastic and so do the snares…very cool set ups.
ОтветитьGreat playing as usual. I have the same sizes in RB Tangerine sparkle with a extra RB 18” bass drum. Your kit sounds great. Can you tell me what heads your using on all the drums? Thanks.
ОтветитьThe really shine with the higher tuning. Sing in the upper register.
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьLiked the pitch interval of the cymbals, it sounded almost perfect to my ears. As per my usual I have a hard time liking myself the Gretsch's and this time as well the BD was kinda lacking presence IMHO but hey that's just me ;-)
Among the many good things, great use of the dynamics you do!!!!! Applause!
I'm a little late on this - but beautiful kit and playing :) What is the typical mic setup that you use when recording drums in these videos? I like the natural sound you capture. Also, nice WFL Pioneer - I've got a few of these from 5.5 - 6.5 and they are some of my favorites.
ОтветитьIs Steve Jordan using this kit with the Stones this summer?
ОтветитьJust a question about the bass drum, where on the bass drum is the overlap? I have a round badge kit in a stain, I’m not sure if it’s the original finish but the shell overlap is on the topside near the second set of lugs on the side closest to the consolette. Have you ever seen this before? Thanks in advance.
Ответитьvery nice
ОтветитьCamping snare sounds woodsy?
ОтветитьNice job Noah!
ОтветитьThanks for the nice comments everyone, I'll try to reply to everyone when I have time! Have a good one. 🥁
