The thumbnail is identical to a postcard I recently found while cleaning out mg grandmothers attic!
ОтветитьYou think when you're in GBurg that it mostly looks the same as it does today during the battle. I didn't even think it would look the way out does in the thumbnail Pic.... it was lone standing
ОтветитьThanks for putting this together. I am not in proximity to visit these places for myself so this is the next best thing. About the closing segment, not sure if I would say that she "...gave her life".., more like it was taken from her.
ОтветитьGreat information, Tim. For more about this story, please read Jennie Wade of Gettysburg: The Complete Story of the Only Civilian Killed During the Battle of Gettysburg by Cindy L. Small.

ОтветитьInteresting, enjoyed this very much😊
ОтветитьOrbs in the last few minutes of this great video! This guy's really know there stuff
ОтветитьThis is a wonderful video. I always wanted to know more about Jennie Wade and her family. It is great that all the houses were visited - I saw the three houses last visit.
ОтветитьJust saw an orb

ОтветитьVery well organized and interesting, thanks for all the detail.
ОтветитьDid anyone see the 2 orbs in Sweeney’s attic?
ОтветитьThis is where Jenny was killed but that is not Jenny wades home she was visiting her sister to help out as her sister just had a baby. Ms. Wade lived closer to town
ОтветитьIt's so tragic 😢 I hope Jennie and Jack are together and at peace ❤️
ОтветитьLooked like orbs in that attic. All so sad but love your channel☮️🇺🇸🦋
ОтветитьFor those who appreciate Tim..make sure you go to the American Battlefield Trust and check him out there. He knows all it seems!
ОтветитьThey also erected A Beautiful statue where Jenny Wade is buried I've been to Gettysburg twice and look forward to going back someday
ОтветитьGreat work, as always. What is access like in Gettysburg, the site, Eisenhower Farm, visitors center, etc.? With numbers coming down, can we visit?
ОтветитьVery well done Tim ..awesome.
ОтветитьVery nice, thank you. I’ve known the basic story of Jennie and all, have visited her sister’s house a couple times too. But you really fleshed out much more about her life and background. I’ll always find it so tragic that she never learned her sweetheart’s fate, nor he, hers. I actually stayed in that Farnsworth House once, I remember they told us how the sniper used the attic as his perch.
ОтветитьI'm so excited to see Tim again! I saw him speak on The History Underground's channel and I enjoy the way he tells the stories. Well done!
ОтветитьOrbs!! We see orbs on the video in the attic!
ОтветитьWho ever approved the building of the large hotel next to the Jenny Wade made a terrible decision!
ОтветитьTim's attention to detail is amazing. Learned more about Jennie in these 20 minutes than I knew in 20 years. Great presentation.
ОтветитьJennie Wade was a Patriot and should be remembered , when most were hiding in fear and rightfully so, Jennie wasn’t 🤗🇺🇸💕🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Enjoyed this thank you so much
ОтветитьVery well done, Tim! Thanks for the details of the story. Your professionalism and research are appreciated.
ОтветитьThis is the most detailed information I have ever found on the Wade family. I have visited the house where Jennie was killed several times over the years, but have always walked away feeling I found only a few facts leading up to that fateful day. Thank you for the incredible history relating to the Wade family.
ОтветитьUnion cigar Gettysburg
ОтветитьMy Grandmother ADA WETZEL KEEFER purchased and rented out a boarding house and small retail shop directly across Baltimore Street where the road takes a very sharp turn....in 1958 after my Grandfather Jerre Keefer died of a heart attack (the family homestead was a farm in Mummasburg)....
Many Wonderful memories of the 'Jennie Wade House' and heartfelt story of her shortened life and that of her love Mr Skelly,etc,etc....
Obviously my lifelong passion for HISTORY can be traced to growing up on Baltimore Street...
Unfortunately that home was just recently destroyed in a huge fire caused in a fatal automobile accident......GOD BLESS✝️🛐🇺🇸❤
This video was absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much for your research and work!
ОтветитьWow. I've toured Eastern State. Don't remember hearing about him. Would be a good snippet if they don't have it already.
ОтветитьHad heard of Jenny, but not the details in this video. Great job.👍 Poor girl to die so young. Rip Jenny.
ОтветитьAwesome 👏 👏👏
Great job to all !
