Mount Hale | New Hampshire 48 | Fall Hike | White Mountains

This is a hike I completed on 10/29/22 of Mount Hale. I have heard a lot of people say they are not a fan of this hike as it is too simple and without views. As I started this hike, I slowly started to disagree with the bias I had going into it from reading and hearing all of the reviews. The hike alongside Hale Brook in the fall months is beautiful. You are also greeted with a spectacular view of Mount Washington on the way back down from Hale Summit. I really enjoyed this hike for a short out and back. I even recommend this as a first to try of the New Hampshire 48, 4000 footers, or the New England 67. In all, the hike was 4.3 miles with 2,277 feet of elevation gain.
