I never realized that Jenny Wade was Jack Skelly's girlfriend. As poignant as it is incredible. And the story about Wesley bearing a message for Jenny from Jack is amazing.

The TV program Ghost Adventures went to Gettysburg and were at Jennie Wade's house. I forget how it came to be known, it may've been from Electro Voice contact, but it came to be known that Jennie was pregnant at the time of her death. She probably knew but wasn't "showing," at that time. It just makes her death all the more tragic and senseless.

I am distantly related to Wesley through my Grandfather, William Culp. As I remember him from my childhood, a good and true Pennsylvania German

Wesley was "killed... on the 2nd or 3rd day". Nice job with roll call, Allegheny.

This park ranger is excellent. There's a video of him discussing Gettysburg with a few other rangers .. he answers the question why didn't the union pursue the South as they retreat Ed

They didn't want to get caught, was His answer

Tim, I would like to talk to you about where I live here on Marsh Creek and if there was anything significant that happened near my property. I don't know how you could message me so I can call you. -Mr. George (from Sam's Stepping Stones) Great video by the way!

The bullet that killed her was a Yankee bullet. Friendly fire is sad.
