I love my SRM fat knives. I have a 1005-GQ with the blue and black G10 handle and a 1006 with the black G10 handle. I'm playing with my 1006 as I'm watching this. 😀

Perfect review. A single suggestion - to add in the description "1005" or like "1006 vs 1005" - because it is (I think so) the only video with such a comparison.

There is a brand of knives made in Italy called Dendra...they have a couple folders that look closer to these knives than the Lionsteel. Not direct copies, but you can see the inspiration. The guys who design and make the knives at SRM are real knife lovers.

I have the srm 710 it's scary how good it is, I would put it head to head quality and fit and finish with any of my spydies, one of my favorite steels too
