She is a crime scene technician and the questions that Alex was asking she should have known the answers to. Absolutely! She was not being forthcoming and truthful in her responses. He was proving that.

Im surprised that i was on opposite side as you guys with this case. The prosecutor is awful. And Baldwin should never have been charged

Every real gun guy knows the "accidental discharge" test is bullshit. They use it to intentionally break a firearm making it impossible for the defense to prove their arguement. They give themselves the ability to use the arguement that they "did evrything possible to force the gun to discharge, to the point where it broke and STILL never discharged" with zero video evidence of the test being conducted. And all us gun guys know when they break the part of the sear off that holds the hammer back, it is now impossible to now show how much engagement the sear had at the time with the hammer. If it was polished/sanded down to be a "hair trigger" that customization to a gun alone makes them more prone to real life accidental discharges. And thats all without mentioning a hair or thread obstruction between the sear and hammer, causing the hammer to slip off the sear after cocking. The state is trying to hide evidence that casts doubt on alec Baldwin and overwhelmingly shows neglect with the armorer and prop house. 6 extra live rounds found on set, so are those supposed to be alec's fault too? What about the live rounds in his fellow actors bandolier? Or is that actor supposed to get in trouble for wearing live rounds on set? To me it all boils down to prop house and armorer.

I am NOT a fan of AB. It was announced several times the gun was cold. Even if AB had unconsciously pulled the trigger, it should have been a dummy round, and no one would have been shot. What if the scene was scripted for him to have actually fired? Was the cylinder ever spun so the round placement was random? Or was the live round specifically placed so that it would be THE SPECIFIC round fired? Has AB actually been trained to detect live vs dummy rounds? Did he load his own gun? That is the job of the armorers and prop managers. They are the ones who are responsible to check, double check, and triple check all ammo, load the guns and all props BEFORE the props are handed to the actor. Make sure knives have slide away plastic blades, medieval maces are plastic with rubber spikes, etc. All this prep work is usually done BEFORE the actor ever puts a hand on the prop. This is why productions hire and rely so heavily on knowledgeable, trained, skilled, experienced armorers and prop managers to prepare things ahead of time and maintain safety and security. Detection of live ammo was NOT AB's job.

Marissa looked invested in the outcome from the first question. Claiming to not remember that she was told the test would damage the gun is not believable. Witness looks to be repeatedly lying.

Spurs did break her and then got her to make herself look even worse.
The last question got her agreeing to things that are not true. The FBI did not say that the testing would destroy or damage the gun. They only said that there was a possibility that it could damage the gun.
The State should be able to recover a lot of things. It looks like Morrissey got angry, when Spurs played her. He gave her the wrong report, which elicited an Objection from her. She had every right to Object to the report she was given but it wasn't the same one he gave to the Court. It made her look flustered and confused, Objecting and having it Overruled.
It was a dirty trick for Spark to play but it could end up biting him in the butt. The Court may require verification that all future documents from him are the same. The court has other options they can use as well. Spyro's biggest success was in making the DA angry.
If she remains angry it will throw her off her game.

Prosecution have focused on the gun being cocked. The evidence the prosecution wanted to block in that long break was showing the line in the script that directs the actor to cock the gun. This makes the actor rehearsing cocking the gun a reasonable action.

Interesting comment about the second loaded gun on set saying there was no way the actor would have known that it was loaded, seems a different standard was expressed by the witness.

Kari Morrissey does not bother me in the least but apparent she does to you. Where does this biased view from you come from? I've heard many people say they are annoyed with Spiro. He only annoys me because he clearly is working with nothing so has to bring up non relevant side topics and try to make them sound compelling. Can't blame him for trying but he has nothing to work with.
Cheer-leading? its troubling.
Sorry for the constructive critique but it will only make you better if you listen.

Yes she re rehabilitated that witness. You are going to have to TRY to drop your bias try to be more like "The Lawyer You know" stay neutral which clearly you are not on this case. You maybe not know it but its obvious. Biased people on you tube are a dime a dozen honest neutral are rare. Try to be rare.

Ответить
@Physics072
@Physics072 - 12.07.2024 00:50

The round that killed has been found and its not live anymore. Other live rounds did not kill Mrs. Hutchings and there is not reliable way to match them. The rounds are not marked via serial numbers. I could make starline 45 rounds and drive them to NM and turn them in tot he police and say I think these un shot live rounds killed Mrs. Hutchings.
They would likely laugh because they already found the bullet and once shot its not longer a live round. Again no way to match boxes of ammo to a individual round.

So more fluff that probably went over your head and maybe the jury but they are from New Mexico and if they know a thing or two about guns and ammo will not be convinced it even matters. It matters zero to me.

Ответить
@Physics072
@Physics072 - 12.07.2024 00:41

Again does not matter about Seth Kenny yes I think the live round snuck in because of him. Side topic, would not matter all rounds are assumed LIVE. That is why there is safety protocols, its assumed. People go to the gun range and use live ammo all day long and sometimes they bring blanks for what ever reason. They could even bring an armorer with them. They could even shoot someone by negligence. They don't get to point to their buddy armorer and blame him. It works like that in fantasy land.
State laws + SAG = no one gets hurt if followed independent of if there are or are not live rounds on set. Stop getting side tracked.
BTW I don't find that witness to be a liar as much as she is annoyed by his attempts. I see right though him yet you don't. If the jury is as clueless as you then maybe it will work, I doubt it.

OMG you are sickening me, OMG Spira is turning it around. Stop with the fake praise please you are embarrassing. Omg they are taking notes case over. Stop it. Jury eating out of palm of his hand. I know lots of story tellers and they may sound interesting but deep down a intelligent person knows its all fluff means nothing in the over all case other than the Jury is not sleeping. Does not matter who put live rounds on the set for negligence with firearms.
The people he shot would still be shot even if they found how the ammo mix up happened.

Ignoring safety is the real issues, I still can't believe attorney (Probably know ZERO about guns) are sucker by this line of questioning to the point of becoming cheer leaders. Its disappointing to the say the least of this channel.

The nickle primer means nothing. Primers come in brass or nickel colored they work the same cost the same. Like some cars are blue some are red. Nothing inherently wrong with using either primer color type. Both very common.
Same thing with Starline brass, its super common many companies use it. Reloaders use it, I've used it. Same thing with power types. You can buy 10 different powers for colts or more. They all look a little different.

You can make all dummies with any brand of brass. You can make live ammo with starline + dummies with starline and use silver or brass primers or no primers. Mix and match brand of primer and brand of brass don't matter.

Its not well regulated the most dangerous is when they use a fake primer and no drill holes then you really can't tell unless you dry fire it. Those should not be allowed.

But it is silly to think if they find live ammo using starline brass = something is a foot. That could be like going into a clothing store and finding a cotton shirt and saying Ah ha we did it! This store carrys cotton. Starline brass is so common that you will find it in many gun stores means zero. Red herring, most reloaders use starline, its super common.
