@Wadjagirl I think Criminal Minds, the CSI franchise, and NCIS may be the only shows in that drama montage that doesn't have some sort of Best Show or Acting nomination. But to me, they deserve to be in that drama montage, after all, it is the Year In Drama, not the Year in Emmy Nominated Drama. CM is true drama at its best, the Emmys obviously have to pay tribute to the towering CSI crime franchise, and NCIS earned its spot since it is the Number One Drama on TV.

@xXxIBeAshleyxXx Personally, a lot of other deserving shows didn't get nominated either, so it's not like the world ended or anything. Yes Greys had an amazing finale, but there were other shows that were just as good, if not better, and they never get nominated simply because they aren't "popular", at least Greys has been nominated at the Emmys before.

@rachelkillers We're just gonna have to accept the fact that the Emmys will never recognize true talent in the shows that they deemed not "popular" enough to be nominated. Unfortunately, CM falls into that not "popular" category despite the fact that CM is the truest of all DRAMA series and Thomas Gibson delivered a performance that is truly deserving of an Emmy win.

@TheGoldenStudios They don't put every single drama series in the montage, most of the time it is only shows that have Emmy nominations, it's a miracle that the CSI franchise, NCIS, and Criminal Minds even got a feature spot in this montage. Sons of Anarchy is good, but to be honest, there are so many other deserving shows that didn't get nominations or mentions either, so I'm sure Sons of Anarchy won't feel lonely being ignored.

@jonhaueter The Emmys has long been a popularity contest rather than any indication of real storyline achievement. NCIS does not get nominated because like the many shows in its genre, it is only seen as a simple cop procedural and not critically famous enough. If NCIS has been so boring and uninspiring, then explain how the show has grown and continued to achieve unprecedented ratings year after year while other shows only slip season after season.

I agree. It is just a bunch of people at a table who decide. It does not determine a great show. Take FRIENDS for instance... only ever one 1 Emmy award for Outstanding Comedy Series in its eight season, and it is now a cult classic.
