I too was taken by one of these monsters when I was 7 it was only by the grace of God that someone told me to run and run fast. I turned to see him with his kill bag full of rope etc. even though I had been molested my fate would have been far worse this bloke was never found.
I have anxiety and PTSD till this day and I’m now 68 but I’m so thankful to that voice that told me to run.
I know part of the fear she would have felt.

I love how you bring these stories to life Lamont, especially the ones that most of us never heard of. This little girl was brutally murdered 2 years before my mom was even born. It's crazy to know how this evil has always been around. All of us always say how bad the world is these days, but it was just as bad back then. It's just that there are more people now than there were in the old days. But the percentage of evil is the same and the dangers were still around. Even though it seemed safer back then for a child to be alone, it really wasn't. They just didn't have all the television and the internet telling us how dangerous it was back then. If it didn't happen in your back yard, you didn't hear about it in those days. But children walking home from school was not safe, even then. I'm glad that her parents got justice, and he was executed pretty quickly when compared to nowadays.
