Is ''going viral'' so uber important?? what if I just start uploading videos, maybe once a week and start growing gradually from there, doing nothing THAT special or supersophisticated, I don't even get that concept quiet right, to me going viral means you made a video and for some reason people find it extremely compelling and interesting so a lot of people start to watch it so the number of views grows exponentially, if one just can't figure out how to make such a video then why worry? It sounds to me what counts more, unless you have that big of a brain to make a super duper video that goes viral and breaks the internet, is consistency, is this correct?

I started a channel for both of my kids so they have a leg up when they realize yt is awesome and fun.

My problem is my parents they just dont get it

Some great encouragement here, which is just as much needed as all the concrete tips and advice in so many of Nick's other videos. I've nearly given up my comedy channel several times, because it can be a long hard road, and in my case it still is after one year. I would say to anyone else in my situation, stick at it, and keep doing it, and make sure you're enjoying the process as well as striving to improve. That way, no one (including yourself) can give you a good reason to stop doing it! And if you keep doing it, and keep trying to do it better, who knows what the future might or might not hold. It's definitely now something I wouldn't want my life to be without.
