Jane Austen & Co.: "Dancing With Jane Austen," featuring historian and author Susannah Fullerton

I have been so enjoying this series of lectures, so I was much dismayed when Miss Fullerton mentioned the old ‘language of the fan’ myth. A quick internet search was all that was needed to show this was an advertising ploy for a fan maker. Very unsettling to be sure.

Fascinating presentation, and I learned so much!

I read your book nine years ago and remember being fascinated by the whole etiquette and protocols of this period.
