Skin and bones he looks like a griffin so that is what I named him…. Black and white….and freckles on his face beautiful…… and a sweet baby ( American bulldog / blue healer)

Philip, the Santa Claus, Dutch Style traditions, you have very cool presents from your Mom! I grew up in Germany, and we celebrated St. Nickolas Day on December 6th with chocolates, fruit and nuts, and Christkind Day on December 24th with presents. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!

Ahh, a be-ro book! I've just ordered one as a stocking filler for my son. He has got very into cooking since being at university.
My mum still has her be-ro book from the 60s when she first got married and I've got one that that she bought me. A classic!

Interesting Meissen porcelain fact: one of our local museums here in Jacksonville, Florida, the Cummer Museum and Gardens, has one of the three best collections of Meissen porcelain in the world, featuring over 700 works, mostly tableware, dating from 1708-1780. They were the collection of Ralph and Constance Wark.

In Australia in the 1980s, I used to craft my own homemade mazipan fruit. Used to be a lot of fun. A great kids craft activity.

I’m with Amaury, Cadbury is my fav chocolate! I’m American and this year I got myself a Cadbury Heroes Advent calendar from the UK. I wanted to see the difference between UK Cadbury and American Cadbury (manufactured & distributed by Hershey). I’m enjoying it, but I was surprised to find I prefer the US version of my fav Cadbury bar (Caramel in UK-Caramello in US). I do think I prefer the UK dairy milk choc. I love the pup’s rescue story, so sweet! ❤
