ОтветитьIs the song available on iTunes?
ОтветитьIf only this opened again... they would earn big money$$$$$$$ (more of those they will earn by the new resort, I’m sure)
ОтветитьDid it just say inthe song that you can "dip or you can die?!"
ОтветитьCould you believe that a kid there could be now like 40-20
ОтветитьLET ER RIP...........rest in piece?

ОтветитьAntes de que fuera abandonado
ОтветитьIt’s wild how much this reboot cast sounds like a chorus of Annettes. They really got the tone right when trying to recapture the original cast.
ОтветитьAnybody know hot to play this on piano?
ОтветитьI was born after it closed and I’m the 200th commenter. Wow
ОтветитьAmeba que como cérebros

ОтветитьSong: in river country everyone’s ur friend!
Bullies: Crap
Went in 1977. My mom has our vacation log. Cost $12 for a family of four! We loved it. It was much more crude, rustic and organic than the big themed water parks! Wet n wild opened and we stopped going to River country. More bang for your buck. But at eight years old and my first ever exposure to water slides and a place like that, it was amazing! It seemed huge to a little kid. Back then Disney s Tom Sawyer island, fort wilderness and the camping sites were a much bigger deal than now with all the techie stuff. So river country fit well into it. Disney just outgrew it as it expanded and river country was left in the past.
ОтветитьBut it seems the park's management did not learn enough from their mistakes, as in 1989 another teen, this time a 13-year-old from Florida, also drowned at the park.
A local newspaper, the Orlando Sentinel, reported at the time that the boy had been there with classmates and had somehow gone under in a large pool without any of the nearby lifeguards noticing.
A witness also told the newspaper that the lifeguards incorrectly performed CPR, not allowing air to escape from his nostrils as they pushed it into his lungs through his mouth. The claim could not be confirmed by Disney.
Also....
"A North Dakota 14-year-old boy drowned after dropping into the lake at the end of the 'Whoop’n Holler' slide.
This time, the boy's family took action, suing the company for failing to put signs up saying how deep the water was. It was also heard in court that dozens of visitors to the park had to be rescued from the ride daily.
The family were awarded $US375,000."
Imagine they brought back River country but a better version of River country
ОтветитьImagine bunch of gangsters going down the slide at once lol
ОтветитьAfter it was abandoned for some time, now I’ve heard it’s demolished, and they’re rebuilding a new resort. Wonder what’s it’s called… man I can’t wait to go to Disney World someday.
ОтветитьBack before America became a dangerous dirty crap hole.
ОтветитьDid you see Angel wave?
ОтветитьIt would've been so cool to go to
ОтветитьQual foi o acidente que ocorreu nesse parque para ele ter fechado?.
ОтветитьBig river country is abandoned
ОтветитьJust once in 1996 at 19 yrs of age, I had the pleasure to go to River Country and Discovery Island. I bet people will still go if it was open today. It was small and such a different experience from the other waterparks!
ОтветитьEu ja vir o parque é de 1976 em 2001 virou abandonado meu vo era nascido
ОтветитьThe brain eating amoeba closed that place down. I loved going there as a kid...glad I didn't get infected with that little killer.
ОтветитьOne of my absolute favorite water parks to go as a kid. It was always busy when we went. Truly a cool place.
ОтветитьGlad we still have its advertisement but it closed because of a deadly disease and will probably never open again
Ответитьif you Mouseketeers think River Country is a water jamboree, just wait until Typhoon Lagoon opens in 1989, it'll be bigger and better
ОтветитьI remember going to River Country as a kid back in ‘79 and the cool thing about it was literally riding the short water slide down until the 15 foot drop at the end of the slide and into the water, we will never forget this legendary waterpark that everyone called home between 1976 and 2001 after 25 years of existence it was the greatest place in the world but sadly for you youngsters out there will nevrr see this place once in your life the thing was we closed it down because of a number of reasons
1. the 9/11 attacks
2. ameba was in the water
3. drownings
4. un chlorinated water
Does anyone tried the white water rapids it looks fun?
ОтветитьThese people's accounts from 7 years ago I'm from the future from 2023

ОтветитьMeanwhile in Cambodia, children are dying by either starvation, sickness, or even fighting in the war.
Just saying this because while everyone in the world were having normal and happy lives, the Cambodians were living in hell under Pol Pot
River Country was a great water park, however, it was very unsafe to go to!!
