The funny thing is that this kid at school said choking is for Pussys and he doesn’t even know what jujitsu is and he also doesn’t realize how much skill it takes more skill then fighting with fist

Thanks Stephan. Watched this video before my BJJ class today, and I was able to escape 3 fully locked triangle attempts.

Awesome video! Chael Sonnen tried an escape similar to the last one in this video but kept his arm out for Anderson Silva to grab and get the armbar

In that last escape, it looks like you could grab a leg for heel hook or ankle lock.

In that side mount with your arm around his head, the best next move is to shoot for a d’arce choke

But the arm across to the rip area not head. To dangerous for armbar.

Great video will be using next class to get out of an intentional triangle that I will give. Last time I was caught in I just forgot all I had learned and got tapped. Thats learning I guess.

I don’t know on the armpit one, that ankle is right there. I’d be tempted to roll over (he goes with) and trap the foot in an Achilles lock.

One key element here is the guy locking the choke is allowing the guy in his guard to move his arm by not isolating it. This would never work against me. J/s

I hate to nitpick here, but the uke is not doing the trap triangle correctly. The leg over the neck should be heel down first and then supported by the outside leg
