I just realised that the only reason Jimmy had sympathy for Daisuke is that he didn't see him as an equal. Daisuke was a fresh face who only got on the Tulpar because of nepotism. Jimmy doesn't envy Daisuke like he does Curly. Swansea is too sane and stubborn of a guy for Jimmy to contest. And Anya... Jimmy didn't even see her as a person. She was just a nuisance and plaything for him. I feel bad for Curly, and I understand that he was trying to balance being a captain and handling a delicate situation, but he should have shut Jimmy down right at the second Anya broke the news to him. And he had a second shot at stopping Jimmy before he crashed the ship. Of course Curly is nowhere as terrible as Jimmy, and he had good intentions and actually cared about the crew, but man. Poor decisions made from being blinded by friendship. And of course, Jimmy is the worst of them all.

So jimmy was fuck up all a long he ruin things between the crew and the ship he was the one who ruin and fuck this up and poor curly who tried to balance everything in the crew and end up messing thinhs up..
