That is simply amazing!
ОтветитьPronunciation: Médici.
ОтветитьWould you trust information coming from someone, allegedly schooled in the Renaissance, who doesn't even pronounce "Medici" correctly?
ОтветитьFantastic! First time for me to see that room and those drawings by the Michaelangelo himself.
ОтветитьThe doodles of a great master, Michaelangelo, himself!
ОтветитьWow Dr. Monica Bietti is beautiful and she has a great taste in art.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьCloseted freaks
ОтветитьGave me goosebumps!
ОтветитьNo, later additions... definitely not the work of ol'Mikey.
ОтветитьHow and who fed him? Where did he go the bathroom?
ОтветитьJust outstanding. Of course. But you knew that.
ОтветитьThere are great lessons in even a moment of art and it's relationship humanity.
ОтветитьTo humanity. Lol.
ОтветитьA highschool classmate of mine was let in this basement chamber in the 80s by a friendly guard. She was blown away as pretty much no one knew it was there. Finally I get to see it. Amazing. Thank you Gigi!
ОтветитьThat was really cool. And in my humble opinion, these drawings were indeed made by him. The style is identical.
ОтветитьHow could they have seen a door, but never opened it? How can they have seen a window, but never looked into it? Something about their story is fishy.
ОтветитьAmazing 👌🏼
ОтветитьWhat is so nausiating is when interviewers start speaking in hushed tones when interviewing.
Bloke was just an artist, a fab one at that, but why speak like a complete pillock?
she's like a 5 year old
ОтветитьRemember that the cameraman always survives😁
ОтветитьLies. Those drawings are crap. He didn't do them.
ОтветитьWhat country is the curator from, b/c both she & Dr. Scott are mis probouncing Medici; it's more like MED-itchy not med-EE-chee.
he was such a fabulous artist---sure did like muscular ladies!
😍
Ответитьso glad she talks about the Medici. Still Michelangelo saw where the wind blew and in some ways he misjudged the Medici.
ОтветитьHis sculptures in this chapel are awful
ОтветитьWho were his true friends and champions, that bore his trust? Lost now in time.
ОтветитьSecret bunker found! ... In 1975. Clickbait bullshit.
ОтветитьOK.. a secret bunker.. Who fed him and brought him water? Where did he go to crap?
I'm having a hard time believing this...
In his time they called him Devine....one look at any piece of his work explains why
ОтветитьBs, utter nonsense
ОтветитьWhere in the world is the last place your enemy will look to find you. Hmmmmm……. In their basement and under their very noses of course.
Ответитьiron door with a handle on the floor. painted red, located in the most famous building on the planet for 500 years and lucky us, we found it in 1975. 50 years ago the vatican had the clarity to hide it from the public. so they put up a sign next to the doorway and handle. Attention! please don't trip on the door or its handle. the authenticity is questioned... why would anyone question the vatican? one drawing looks like a michaelangelo, the rest is very suspect. well if you believe this is true... i have been taught as of yesterday that even a christian like blondie orange face is truly forgiven.
ОтветитьSo he wasn’t African American?
Ответить❤
ОтветитьAt a glance these wall renderings dont come close to Michealangelo's rendering skill level. just look at his drawins amd compair them. These wall studies though competant, but not convincing. IMHO.
ОтветитьHe is one of those 'special' people who appear in history and change the world in magnificent ways. Like Nikola Tesla, Einstein, Churchill, Alexander Fleming (antibiotics), Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen (x-rays) and so on.
ОтветитьHow wonderful!
ОтветитьWhy is the interviewer so patronizing
ОтветитьIn 1984-5 I was in San Lorenzo. I suddenly recognised the renowned art historian Gombrich escorted to the door .. followed begged the guard to let me in being an art student… he did !! Although the astonished side glances I got it was worth every moment.. and it was only a few moments before I was asked to leave…
ОтветитьThe journalist's feigned, exaggerated, disingenuous expressions of inspired wonder are tedious, annoying, and serve as a distraction from the content of the show itself. I can't watch this for that reason. The wonderful thing about non-professional vloggers is that you don't get that bologna, but the mainstream media don't seem to get that point. I just want my history and tourism delivered straight-up.
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьPerhaps forgotten is a better description, not lost.
ОтветитьThis is nothing compared to the Storehouse the Vatican has and will not permit to even discuss.
ОтветитьYou're telling me a room with a window goes undiscovered for 400 years? What?
Ответить👍🖖
Ответить🎄🦃🦃
ОтветитьI love their energy and enthusiasm! 🎉❤(not so sure about the drawings, though...)
ОтветитьHow these people could make such a mistake? Eyes wide open, it is a prank. Someone did a bad copy of Michelangelo's best drawings and that's all. A child of 5 would see that.
