I love this movie!
ОтветитьWho watched this movie on Movieplex?
ОтветитьBest line of the movie: “It’s a kick in the face on a Saturday day night with a steel toe grip Kodiak work boot” ✨🤣🤣
ОтветитьFerris bueller vs Stanley ipkiss 😁🌟👍🏻
ОтветитьI seen it at the theatre when it came out.
ОтветитьThis movie was ahead of its time.
ОтветитьI reckon this film's comedy doesn't seem as dated as his other big stuff then.
Ответить'I just wanna hang out! No big deal!'
ОтветитьMy friend Cody and I have played porno password with his mom and girlfriend........ He really didn't want to play that game at the moment.
ОтветитьFunny how you didn't mention how this movie predicted Twitter fan culture in which people feel like they own celebrities or fictional characters to the point where they'll ruin lives if they don't get what they want.
ОтветитьThis movie is absolutely brilliant and a thoughtful examination of what exactly does friendship mean, where exactly are the appropriate boundaries for it, and how far are some people willing to go to obtain it? One of my favorite quotes from The Polar Express is when Santa says "there's no greater gift than friendship", which is true in my opinion. This movie takes that line to the extreme absurd deep end but is still very relatable if you've ever had somebody enter your life who desperately wanted to be your friend, but you didn't feel like reciprocating at the time - especially if their actions set off red flags for you.
ОтветитьI was drunk watching this movie by myself and I cried at the end.
“I just wanted to be your friend, but I screwed it up”
Fucking amazing movie. Porno password is a great family game
ОтветитьI think this is one ofJims best movies. Hilarious and dark and creepy at the same time.
ОтветитьHe who hesitates masturbates.
ОтветитьI recall renting this when it came out on VHS and me and my friend loved it. Watched it twice in a row.
ОтветитьI really don't think this should be a best movie you never saw..
ОтветитьThe second Ace Ventura is pretty funny actually.
Ответитьyeah right ive seen this hundreds of times lol
Ответитьoverall ok movie, worth the price of admission for Jim Carrey doing Somebody to love
ОтветитьThis movie made me wish we could’ve seen Jim Carrey in a darker version of Batman Forever as The Riddler.
ОтветитьAs a cable guy, the connector in the thumbnail bugs the hell out of me .
ОтветитьI was a teen when this movie came out. I got it. I thought it was great. I was honestly surprised that it wasn't better received. I'm something of an oddball though. I didn't care for Ace Ventura then. I thought it was low brow. Now I do.
ОтветитьCable Guy and The Truman Show are my favorite Carrey movies
ОтветитьHey wait.. did you just dump on When nature calls? I'm disliking just for that sir
Ответить[the Cable Guy is speaking to Steven in prison over the phone; he puts his hand on the glass that is separating them]
The Cable Guy: I'm just here to comfort you. Touch it. You need human contact.
Steven: I will not touch it.
[the Cable Guy sets the phone down and begins unbuttoning his shirt]
Steven: What are you doing?
The Cable Guy: [shouting] I know how you're feeling right now!
Steven: [realizing what he's about to do] Don't do that.
The Cable Guy: [continuing to shout] I'm here for you!
[the Cable Guy jumps up next to the glass and tears away his shirt to place his chest against the glass]
Steven: Don't do that! You're gonna get me killed!
[a prisoner next to a horrified Steven looks over and makes a kissy face]
The Cable Guy: [whining] Oh, Billy...
[continues to moan and wail; then immediately drops the act]
The Cable Guy: I'm just messin' with ya.
[laughs hysterically]
The Cable Guy: Remember Midnight Express? Oliver Stone won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Awesome, awesome scene.
I always loved this movie even as a kid.
I still do now.
CableGuy= not funny!
I remember using cable guy as a term for creepy homies back n the day
I liked it 👍
Ответитьbest. Jim. Carey. Movie. EVER!!!
ОтветитьToo over the top for me. And I liked Liar Liar and Ace Ventura.
ОтветитьI still don't know what to make of it, its funny and weird. I think if you're gonna go dark go dark. Where this movie is somewhere between light hearted and friendly and dark then scary at the same time. Its got its moments but I'm not a big fan to be honest. They should have gone darker make it a satire and a more of a parody.
ОтветитьAs a kid I didn't care for it. It hit me as an adult later.
ОтветитьStupid to assume people haven't seen this based on critics nonsense and rotten tomatoes. Also, dumb and dumber was darker than cable guy.
ОтветитьThis movie is hilarious!!
Among my top favorite Jim Carrey movies!👍
To this day, one of my favorite lines to use in conversation with friends is, “COME BACK, SO I MAY BRAIN THEE!!!”
ОтветитьHe should’ve died in the end. 10000%
Damn american audiences 🤬
Fantastic Movie!
ОтветитьIf you want to read the Gospel then I will put something like that in my replies but if you read that then you should still read the complete Gospel. I put this because in Acts 1:8 it says “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” so I put this to do what The Lord says. If you read it then like the comment so that more people can see it, and more people have at least one opportunity, because accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is the most important decision that you will ever make.
ОтветитьI agree that the Cable Guy is not a family friendly film. But to hear Ace Ventura and Liar Liar described as family friendly movies is a bit of a head scratcher.
ОтветитьThis movie has tenacious d and saul Goodman. And the movie itself is amazing. The ending scene (you need to kill the babysitter) is still one of my favorite movies ever
Ответитьhe was speaking......asian
ОтветитьThe way Jim Carrey at the medieval battle sings "bbbbbbbllllllluuurrrrr-ah!!" is unique on its own.
ОтветитьIf it was the early 2000s, Ben Stiller may've played Broderick's part and Jack Black may've played Carrey's part, since Black became alot less serious and more goofy by then, with roles like Shallow Hal, Orange County, and School of Rock, which all came out between 2000 and 2004. Cable Guy came out in 1996 and Jack Black hadn't found his comedy style yet, and was much more serious in this movie than in those later movies.
ОтветитьI don't know what all the fuss was about, i've seen Cable Guy many, many times. It rules!
ОтветитьThis movie is absolute genius, its deeper than you think. Everything Chip says in the satelite dish came true! I am currently typing this while playing Mortal Kombat with a friend in Vietnam.
ОтветитьA brilliant, prophetic movie, unique in every way 🤩🤩🤩
ОтветитьI never realize that Owen Wilson, and not a stunt double took that beating from Jim Carrey that part was insane! By the way, I was nine when I first seen this movie
I loved it then and I still love it now
It’s definitely different watching it as an adult
😂
It's a masterpiece.
