La Wanda page was also hilarious as the churches chicken lady she'd do ads with a jack Russell terrier that had a wig like her's her catch line was " gotta love it" the commercials were big when I was a kid and any kid who grew up in Texas in the 90s grew up on churches chicken and those ads with aunt Esther schilling chicken for churches chicken 😅

Elvis sang many remade songs, not writing any songs apart from two, from what I read (out of the appx. 600 he sang). Momma Thornton was just one of the amazing artists he complemented by singing a remade version of their song. When I watched "Elvis" it was really cool to see her characterized in the movie, singing the original Hound Dog.
