Really? And where is that bullet?? Was it recovered? That bullet is make sure it came from the gun that was found. C'mon people. Just about all the shows on tv are police/detective. Do you think we are that stupid??

It's just science/math/geometry. They can recreate the bullets path with lasers. They know where the gunman was, they know where Trump was, if it was a bullett, at the end of the laser path there should be bullet hole or dent or something, if there is not, than it was not a bullet shot directly from that gun, hence the FBI knowing it was something else, IF they didn't find the bullett at the end of the laser beam. Got it, good :-)

Unless Trump's head was very tilted (which it does not appear to be) the bullet on the shown trajectory would not have lined up with Trump's ear.
