I doubt even with $25 million he could have afforded that place.
Ответитьwow it has been so many years since I have seen this still as funny as it was back then
ОтветитьYou can't go against nature. I love the poignant scene with Buddy Epson nailing the Jed Clampett role as he speaks with Ellie May. Makes a mockery of the current clown world and its sis gender nonsense.
ОтветитьThis show was pure creative genius
Ответить"It ain't right that folks go against nature, Look at ol' Duke here, You reckon we could turn him into a cat? Course not!!" And there's your dose of reality for today folks!!😉😁😎
ОтветитьAs a zoomer, ive never seen a show as good as this!
What a breath of fresh air!
This is pure gold. I like how they wore a piece of rope for a belt. lol
ОтветитьCould anyone please provide the episode where Jed and Ellie Mae are watching her chimp ride the hound dog in the entrance way of their mansion?
ОтветитьAn eatin' champion.
ОтветитьNature made you a girl. Absolutely!
Ответить"It aint right for folks to go against nature".
Sensible times not that long ago
PRICELESS! Thank you!
ОтветитьThis episode is when it started to get fun...
ОтветитьI literally grew up watching This show
ОтветитьI ❤ The Beverly Hillbillies. It reminds me of being with my Dad who went to Heaven 10 years ago.
Ответить😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьI’m a hillbilly. What does juxtaposition mean?
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ответить2025 and the show is still brilliant
ОтветитьOne of the things that made the show so great started with casting. There used to be a theory in acting that actors do their best work when they can put themselves into the person they are playing. Looking back at the great actors of my life, I see it. John Wayne was fortunate enough to play characters that acted similarly to how he would act in the same situation. Clint Eastwood, Lee Marvin and Charles Bronson are others. More recently, Kevin Costner and Charlie Sheen are the same way. Another thing is they let the funny people be the comics and let the others mostly play straight. Jethro and Granny were involved in most of the comedy, along with Mr. Drysdale. Basically, the straight people were Jed, Ellie and Miss Jane. If we weren't so sensitive today, we could still have funny shows, but the left has done a really good job of killing comedy. All you need to do is go to a comedy show and there is always at least one over sensitive heckler there.
ОтветитьI miss the days when comedy relied on actors, and not special effects. It was so much better then.
ОтветитьStill very funny....Nancy Kulp especially
ОтветитьWhat a great show ...
How true though, it is a prison
They gave up their freedom for a fortress
Drysdale was great, all the actors were great..
Dirt is dirt. 😂😊
This was back in a time when people automatically knew it was a joke if they heard you say "shooting a soufflé" without having someone call the police and reporting they heard you wanted to kill a woman or girl named "Sue Flay". I miss the innocent parts of the 1960's.
ОтветитьLol 😅,I miss those days and times sorely...
ОтветитьBack then folk were folk and there was less self interest and people cared about others. Now it's just me,me,me oh and me too! The world is a mess!!
ОтветитьI'm 64 , I grew up watching this show in the 60s 😊😊
ОтветитьI've watched the series as long as I can remember...I find it soothing.
ОтветитьI jus finished watching episode 1 (the very first!)... Man dat way funnn ..y!! 😅😅. 😊
ОтветитьNeed to put back on TV best show around
ОтветитьThis will still b funny to watch in a thousand years
ОтветитьHahahaha...Ms Hathaway smooth switch that thing up fast! She was awesome on this show.
ОтветитьAwesome show! Jethro always cracks me up.
Jed, Granny and Mr. Drysdale. Ellie was the eye candy for sure.
Perfect wholesome American show.
Was that a buck or calf left outside the old house. Also anyone know the breed of the dog. Thanks
Ответить👏 👏 👏 finest humour 😂
ОтветитьI saw this when it first came out and I still laugh at it.
ОтветитьMiss Hattway enjoying a'tusslin' with Ellie May
ОтветитьBut...that's an oven!
ОтветитьGee, I watched this on TV when it was in reruns in the mid-60s (when I was like 5 and 6 years old) but I had not really grasped how well-written and performed this was!! There are so many ways it could have been done wrong. This wasn't.
Absolutely BRILLIANT!
Who the heck did the theme song? Sounds horrible.
ОтветитьThe Beverly Hillbillies I think is one of TVs all time funniest shows. And Ellie May was a hotty.
ОтветитьWho in the WORLD is singing that theme song?!
ОтветитьThe beginning is different? Who is singing it? 😊
ОтветитьI have to watch this show to escape clown world.
ОтветитьI'm from Argentina. Born in 62, I must have first watched them when I was 6 or so. Most of it went over my head, obviously, not to say that it was dubbed to Spanish and things like the Eaton/eat'n joke were untranslatable. However I loved it and somehow understood the setting.
ОтветитьThis is good comedy.
ОтветитьI was 8 years old when I first watched this great program.....Now I'm 70. Man time sure does fly by.....😢❤😂
