Heyo everybody!
Some added information I didn’t touch on in the video:
1. This is not a routine which will make you climb harder. It’s a little cherry on top when you feel you want to train a bit extra but aren’t sure what to do!
2. It’s not a scientific experiment, just some training which may or may not help you.
3. With my incredible lack of endurance this helps build my character, and maybe make me fight a bit better here and there. Who knows?
4. This isn’t really targeted towards climbing specifically.. it’s just pure core training.
5. Questions about rest: no resting/the time it takes to follow along :-)
Enjoy!
2. Sideways situp: The burn should not be felt on the side that goes up, because that isn't the contracting muscle?
4: Touch toes: I always found them unintuitive. An alternative way is to lower your knees further and then bring your elbows to the knees.
I would love an updated training video. This workout is all about abs, Not necessarily core. There is no hip or back workout in this.
ОтветитьHello to everyone here who can answer my queries 😊, I'm interested in climbing, and got into yoga last month, I also just discovered this video. I wanna know, can this core workout be done in combination with yoga before I even start climbing? (never climbed at all) I was told it's good to condition my body first. And for someone who works a 9-5, what is the best time for this daily routine and what would that routine look like if it's with yoga?
ОтветитьHar gjort dessa varannan dag i typ en månad nu och kunde håll front lever för 5 sek( har gjort höga leg raises också men detta svider utav helvete)
ОтветитьBrutal! Love it though :-)
ОтветитьForgot how good this work out is. I did it like daily for a month or two last year and I was getting super strong. Now dropped it for a while but ready to pick it back up 💪
ОтветитьIs this a core workout for climbers or for a beach body? Where’s good core stability work?
ОтветитьSIX SACK? isn't it zig zag? :-)
ОтветитьI love it❤❤❤ Thanks a lot. ชอบมากทุกท่า
ОтветитьQuick bit of advice for beginners, if you can't do sit-ups or rolling belly, then add weights to your feet, or have someone hold them, or put them under a couch. Congrats now you can do the exercise properly without flinging your body side to side.
ОтветитьGreat workout by that woman there
ОтветитьFun AF ❤❤❤ How many rounds one should do per session? THX!!
ОтветитьI had to mute the video to do the exercises because it sounds like you guys are having sex lol
ОтветитьGood exercices and no crap music. Perfecto 🎉❤
ОтветитьI’m very stiff and can’t touch my toes in the one where you reach up with your toes pointed. Does it matter or do I just need to be more flexible?
ОтветитьThank you for suffering Emil <3 i always feel like a half-dead whale during core workouts :D at least i know im not alone!
ОтветитьThanks! A great workout!
ОтветитьReally weird you are such a good climber but struggling with these. I barely touch V5 and level 3 was easy.
ОтветитьYou will end with back aches doing it out of couch. You first need to learn to do them right not to curve your back.
ОтветитьThese are good exercises but neither one of you have good form. It's not about speed.
ОтветитьClimbers specialise in using their upper bodies so the trunk becomes relatively weak. I have the same condition. I'm going on a regimen to fix it. I want an all around powerful body. This video has some great info and I'm definitely archiving it for reference. Thanks.
ОтветитьThanks!!! The different levels are really nice.
ОтветитьFor some reason I can't even do the "rolling belly" properly. I 'm just getting up and then down again but while also trying to do the clockwise move at the same time. I 'm tall and I 've seen other tall people in the comments having trouble with it (as well as Emil himself) so ig that's a common problem for tall folks.
ОтветитьThanks a lot for uploading this routine. Sit-ups are kinda bad for your spine though, lots of research point that out. I’d highly suggest replacing a few of these exercises with plank exercises, which seem to be very effective as well as a bit gentler for the spine
Ответитьthis gave me much more results than other abs workout!!! thanks a lot
ОтветитьI’ve been climbing for almost four years now and tried to do level 3. At some points it was hard to keep going. Nevertheless an amazing Workout! Thank you so much <3
ОтветитьAh that's great, I have finger pain and this keeps me from feeling like I am loosing progress now that I take a break :D
ОтветитьI love your workout and hangboard follow alongs! Matilda is core goals and an absolute beast... my abs are still feeling the burn!
ОтветитьLove this workout, great too follow along
ОтветитьI've been climbing only since the start of this year and my core is so weak that I cramped up trying to keep up to level 2, on only the second exercise. Got a ways to go
ОтветитьNice workout! Can I find the example video (the girl showing how to do the exercies) anywhere? Its a bit cleaner to follow along to
ОтветитьI'veen doing this routine for 2 months and my abs are starting to show up, i never have them before
ОтветитьIsn’t it common knowledge that sit-ups are extremely unhealthy, especially in the beginner?! Makes me doubt the whole video…
Edit: I saw it now completely and I have to say, you’re basically destroying the lower back of your not so well trained audience…. Be very careful when trying that out
Really nice core workout💪💪💪👍👍👍
ОтветитьIt's great to finally see a workout routine carried out by someone who's not flying through it! Makes it more realistic for some of us not-so-much in shape viewers.
ОтветитьCome on people earn that summer bod 💪😄
ОтветитьHey Emil, you're doing a lot of the core workout we do at the boxing gym after 12 rounds of bags/pads and sparring. You should go to a local boxing gym and see if you can work in with one of the classes, I think you'd enjoy it!
ОтветитьCordi ❤
ОтветитьTouch the ground behind to stretch the abs?
ОтветитьFor those of you who want a level 4, holding a kettlebell while doing these will absolutely destroy your core and your will to live
ОтветитьYou are so strong Emil, bit seeing you struggle with sit-ups is just so relatable. I think my body type is quite similar to yours, tall guy (with a little bit less muscles, but still) i find some of these exercises so difficult, but seeing you do them and then crushing at dreamtime is definitely invigorating
ОтветитьVery cool Video. Thank you. ;)
ОтветитьWell this solidifies for me that core exercises are very little value for climbing. Personally I love core exercises and do intense abs training. It was very easy for me to finish this (i was very surpised after seeing the struggle inthe video). And yet my climbing level is nowhere near the level of those two people. So being much stronger in core still translates very poorly to climbing. For me the takeaway is that anything more than basic core strength is wasted effort if your training goal is to climb hard
Ответитьyour channel has single handedly made my training routine haha
ОтветитьNote: if you have bigger legs it makes the workout harder since there is more weight to keep up. SO DON'T SKIP LEG DAY.
ОтветитьJust did level 2 on all these (I don't practice core that much) after doing a few pull ups. Damn that was hard, can't imagine how level 3 feels lmao
Edit 2 months after : I can follow along the level 3! Still have a lot to do to match Matilda though
