I am a fan of the street glide after riding one. How do you find the front fairing on a windy day? I agree with you about the sport glide, but the panniers look too small. The rims on the sport glide are the best looking in the Harley range IMHO. Looking forward to more videos about the street glide.
ОтветитьReally cool man. Can’t wait to go for a ride with you.
ОтветитьMy son owns a 17 Street Glide special and he loves it, I've ridden it a few times and I like it too, they are just a really nice bike, excellent review on the Street Glide special brother, ride safe and ride easy 💯 🤜🏼🤛🏼
ОтветитьBeautiful view mate!!
ОтветитьGreat review Rob...man it sounds awesome!
ОтветитьGreat vlog and review Rob 😎🤙🏻 yes I love my StreetGlide
ОтветитьI can see me heading in the bagger direction soon enough
ОтветитьUggboot 'moccies' are the go..
ОтветитьTotally enjoying the SG - similar reasons as you gave. Also have an older Heritage .. a totally different buzz, but just as enjoyable . Horses for courses. Nice vid. Good to see Oz content.
ОтветитьGreat year review.. I almost went with a street glide but pulled the trigger on the Road Glide Limited. Thanks for sharing the pros vs cons
ОтветитьYay Blue Mountains ride. I do that run from Bathurst and back!
ОтветитьA yes batteries....they do help lol.
ОтветитьThat ugg boot shop used to have beautiful bushy fox tails for sale and the image of you stripping down to the bone was frightning...lol.
Good to see you making the most of your freedom Robbo, nice work...Rocky
NOLA is a good looking bird, I’m a big fan of that SG of yours!
It’ll be a great bike for some longer trips, maybe up north 🤔
Great review. Very thorough. My issue with some of these bikes...not having owned a HD but I did a two year stint with a huge Yamaha Roadstar...is the weight of the bikes. I found I was exhausted after heaving them around. Still lots of great qualities though. Good work on the review!
ОтветитьGreat honest video AND yes, they’re absolutely THE best Uggies. 🤙🏼
Looking forward to catching up for some 📸 soon. Hopefully H.D lend you a Livewire that we can 📸 too and you can review 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Gotta love having a fuel guage. I have ugg boots. I love honey to. Ahh....you didn't let me throw down the whole "you hadn't ridden a sport bike" thing...😂 It sounds like a very lovely bike to take on a road trip!
ОтветитьLove to see HD videos from Australia. On my bucket list to go ride it. Problem is don't know how I'd get my bike there. Guess you can rent one. From USA fla
ОтветитьHow do you get 500km ? What size tank are they!
ОтветитьWhat kind of riding jacket?
ОтветитьI imagine that your height influences your problem with wind turbulence, anyway that windshield has fixed it a lot. Thanks for sharing. ✌
ОтветитьI can’t wait to get me a bagger! Excellent review mate.
ОтветитьI own a 2019 Street Glide Special and kept the engine standard. On my last Harley I went straight to a Stage 1 so I never had a comparison to standard, and I was interested in the difference. The low speed fueling issue you describe is exactly the same on my bike, so I don’t think its your Stage 2. I am actually thinking of putting on a Stage 1 kit just to better tune the fueling across the rev range. You don’t mention which tuner you have on the bike but I could suggest to get a tuning shop to look at the fuel map.
ОтветитьCool review, got the exact same bike color and year, still stock, put 13,000 miles on it this year 0 miles when I got it, doing comfort upgrade this winter, safe riding
ОтветитьJust found and subed your chanel. Great ride and review!
ОтветитьPlease review the taller windscreen if/when you get it. Thanks for the great review! Recently got my first bike, a Harley Street Glide, quite intimidating at first but really coming around.
Ответитьim 6foot put a 8 inch freedom shields on my 2019 steet glide special.check them out.. can hear stereo and no wind on helmet. and can lift myself up another couple of inches and still no wind..highlt reccomend them..cheers.
ОтветитьI'm 59 AND MY 2017 SGS DOESN'T HAVE A WEIGHT PROBLEM.
ОтветитьI had a 2014 Street Glide special, but when I decided to get the 2019 Street Glide I didn't care for the blacked out bike (Street Glide Specials are all blacked out)so I just got the 2019 Street Glide and I absolutely Love the chrome and the newer GTS boom box system. I have the Rinehart Slip ons and the stage 1 air cleaner and tune mine is the 107. I absolutely love the Milwaukee 8 over the twin cam in my old 2014. Thank you for the great video and review, I'm here in the states and love all the views of Australia.
ОтветитьWell spoken great review..
ОтветитьThanks for the honest review. I am looking at a tourer and you made some really good points.
ОтветитьI am in the same boat currently own a Bonnieville t120 which is great for city riding but i wouldn't mind a cruiser and was looking at the RKS or the Sport glide, swaying more to the sport glide for its versatility, but i feel u will regret selling the bonnie
ОтветитьI enjoyed your review. Very thorough.
I don't know if anyone else had made this comment, but you say you get 500kms per tank of juice!!! Really? I am astonished at that.
Sweet video. I ride an Iron 883 when weather permits (I live in Alaska) and have been looking for a way to mount my phone on the handlebars. That cord lock thing looks like it might be the answer. Do you have a link for it? Thanks.
ОтветитьThanks for honest Aussie review
Ответитьyou went past me and my house on Hawkesbury rd. lol
ОтветитьGday mate from a old blaxland boy , did you test ride a DCT gold wing bagger ?? seems to have fixed all of your concerns of the harley .. Re Adam Waleed reviews
ОтветитьI ride mine almost every day, I love riding it. I don’t like riding it when it’s a very hot day or very heavy city traffic areas because my hand gets tire of squeezing and releasing the clutch. It’s a beautiful bike still.
ОтветитьAre you ever down Wollongong way? Bring your SG down to Bald Hill lookout. I'll let you have a ride/vlog on my SG
ОтветитьGreat video bro, trying to decide between RG and SG..
Watching from NZ
I have a sport glide tuned. I want a street glide due to the comfort factor. For long km rides it honestly becomes unbearable. And yes i have upgraded seat to a saddleman. 1.5hrs of riding and your screaming inside. Im 6ft 4 maybe that has alot to do with it but i am upgrading in the next few months rob. If you want to talk trade deal hit me up mate
Ответитьjust get to the review. man shut up
ОтветитьGet the Klockworks have it on my Ultra best screen in the market without a doubt.
ОтветитьDoes opening that vent on the front help buffeting? I was just going to buy one of these and then I watched this and it reminded me of my victory magnum the buffeting made me feel sick sore tired and made riding shitty during the ride it was just the buffeting you deal with after the ride you deal with the after affects , the human head is not meant to bobble around like that I'd prefer to just be out in the wind and no buffeting it makes riding much more enjoyable
ОтветитьI ride a Heritage Classic and had thought about the Street Glide as a next step but my 19" screen is a joy for me at 6'2" so I don't' think I will go there. Cheers for a great review.
ОтветитьIm 65 in August been riding since the 60s had many large bikes what do you think of the difference between what im riding around now my Yamaha FJR 1300 and the Harley Davidsons iv got a commuter Honda CB 125E i just don't want to regret selling the FJR which iv never had any issues with as you said Harley's aren't cheap for parts or probably maintenance stay safe and upright cheers from Geelong VIC Australia 🦘🌏
ОтветитьWe have them in pommy land too bud great winter bit of kit 🤙
ОтветитьDo you own a Street glide special? If so do you love it too?
Ответить
